“It’s very rare that you get together with everybody and nothing is wrong. I’m appreciating that aspect of this immensely. So many people deserve these moments, so few people get them. Any reason for all of us to be together is fine for me.” by @f1ayrton
20 years ago I touched down ✈️ . . They told me “we’re only going for a month” 😂 my ass prolly thought they meant Disneyland haaa . . . . . … ain’t caught feelings since that flight, since I left my heart. by @f1ayrton
Cuando vos entrás a la cancha se va la vida, se van los problemas, se va todo ❤️🙏🏾🕊 . . First time back on the field 7 months after rupturing my achilles. I played volleyball and been hooping but hesitant to play the beautiful game. I was rusty af but fuck it felt good. Diego’s quote explains it all, we all have that zone when we don’t think and just do (like in Soul). As an over thinker/analyzer who consistently reflects about everything, not having soma those childlike living in the moment outlets, rly threw me off. Specially the days ppl seemed so happy and supportive of the settler colonial state that continues to oppress other ppl worldwide. Anyways, tomorrow I play on the field where my injury occurred 🤞🏾 lol ... Hope everyone is staying healthy and happy, and are resetting when needed. Love ya’ll. 🙏🏾❤️✊🏾 by @f1ayrton
Feliz Fiestas Patrias a mi gente Peruana ❤️🇵🇪 . My love for Peru is so immense, at times I’m overwhelmed by its flaws and riches. My displacement trauma is often triggered during odes to/of Peru. And it’s a blessing to be associated to beautiful history but a curse to understand what separates me from it. I came to the states at young age, and therefore my household and family became my country, which is prolly why they share similar strengths and faults lol. I’ve always dreamed of going back, but today specially because I lost a connection to my roots last night. It’s a common experience among immigrants, being away and not being able to say a final goodbye to family members. With that said, I’m still grateful for being born into Incan heritage and thankful for the opportunity here and indebted to the bay for adopting me. Arriba Perú Carajo!!! Yeeeeee by @f1ayrton

Love is complex. . Ppl don’t understand love can be toxic. IMO genuine love and respect is accountability and wanting self improvement for the thing/one u love. So if u rly love your country praise the good, but acknowledge the bad and help with work still needed to improve it. 🙏🏾❤️✊🏾 I have never felt accepted or loved by this country. But the bay thoo, sheeeeesh I got MAD love for the bay. And I wanna thank the bay for welcoming me and loving me as their own. With that said, ppl in the bay think just cus the bay is more “inclusive” it doesn’t need to keep working on social issues. I helped organize an event in Pinole a few weeks back and the misogyny and racism I saw against the young black women who organized it was sickening, heart-breaking and infuriating. If u come for my sisters, youre coming for me! So Pinole I’m coming back to do more work and healing soon. Keep posted Have a blessed weekend ya’ll ❤️! . . #justiciaparavanessaguillen #womensrightsarehumanrights #justiceforbreonnataylor #blacklivesmatter #nohumanisillegal #abolishice #abolishthepolice #loveislove #transwomenarewomen #stopusmilitaryaid by @f1ayrton
Why is wanting equality radical? - @ho_chi_mama This is for my Latinos/hispanas Yo soy peruano. Exterminaron y violaron a seres humanos.
