Nurburgring 2026 - A trip I’ll never forget. 1,100 miles, 6 days, 8 laps, many steps taken whilst exploring and a big moment for me. It’s always been a place I’ve wanted to visit and to take my M235i was even better. Perfect weather even better laps and good company. Now to get the F31 track prepped and take that to conquer the Green Hell! 🏁 🌲

Unfortunately, it’s time to say goodbye to the M235i 💔💜

Exactly a month ago today I was involved in a small shunt in stop-and-go traffic. Unfortunately, my car took most of the impact and ended up with the majority of the damage.

After the assessment, the insurance company decided not to write the car off. Instead, they’ve paid me out the cost of the repairs. While I could repair it and keep it on the road, I’ve decided it’s the right time to move on and let someone else give it a new lease of life.

For those who don’t know, this car has already been through a lot. Back in December ‘24, just five days before my birthday, someone drove straight into the side of me on a roundabout, and the car was written off after I’d owned it for less than four months.

Thankfully, I was able to buy it back and rebuild it into what it became today, an absolute eye-catcher.

It’s not easy saying goodbye. I’ve made so many memories with it, met some amazing people, and it’s genuinely become a big part of who I am. Everyone who knows me knows how much this car means to me and how much time, effort and care I’ve put into it. It’s been an incredible car to own, but I think it’s the right time for a new chapter.

The F31 build is already started and is something I’m looking forward to doing! With a Nurburgring trip booked for September maybe I’ll keep the M235i until then and make that it’s final send off.

A huge thank you to everyone I’ve met, spoken to, and everyone who’s followed the M235i journey over the last couple of years. Your support has meant a lot, and I can’t wait to share the adventure of the touring. ❤️ by @f31.owen

Welcome to my new to me BMW F31 320i! I’ve always loved the shape of a touring and have wanted to do a build on one for ages so I think now’s the time. A clean slate, a fresh Japanese import with a big vision of what I want it to look like.

In regards to the M235i I’ll have an update on that soon…
