In just a few hours, the world will witness the unveiling of Ya Ghayeb, a docu-series that traces the life of Fadel Chaker, told by the man himself.

I am profoundly honored to have directed this project, a journey so intense, complex, and deeply human that I carry it with immense gratitude.

To 2PURE Studios, thank you for your boldness in producing this series, and for entrusting me, a first-time series director, with a story of this magnitude.
Rudolf Jabr, your courage and patience made this possible.

Nour, Georges, and Nay, I am deeply honored to have had the chance to direct your masterpiece script. From student desks to storytelling on screen. We need more from you. Keep writing.

To my actors, my heart is full of gratitude and humility for the chance to work with each of you. You took risks, you trusted me, and you poured your souls into this project. Your commitment and talent have made this journey unforgettable, and I am forever in awe of you.

To my tireless team, your passion, resilience, and unwavering spirit carried us through. I am forever grateful for each of you.

And to the audience, I say: watch it with an open heart, beyond good and evil.

@fadelchaker .. the floor is yours.

For the brutal poetry of moving images, 7 years of raw and raging story telling through my lens.

#cinematographer #showreel #cinema

@ornellamaalouf my life editor— your blade is sharp, your instincts sharper.

To the artists who walked with me through the making of these images— your fire, your feeling, your truth— i’m deeply grateful ❤️‍🔥
