It’s contemporary photography weekend in Turin: @thephair_photoartfair is in town!
From May 22–24, OGR Torino becomes a meeting point for galleries, artists, collectors, and photography lovers exploring the many possibilities of the image today.

The Phair rethinks the traditional art fair format through a curated and immersive experience dedicated entirely to photography and image-based practices. From emerging voices to internationally recognised artists, the fair creates a dialogue around visual culture and contemporary experimentation.

Set inside the iconic @ogr_torino, this year’s edition brings together local and international galleries alongside a rich programme of talks, awards, and special projects supporting artists.

Beyond the fair itself, The Phair extends across Torino through talks, encounters, and events dedicated to contemporary photography and visual culture.

#PORTOFRANCO emerges from the raw aesthetics and haunting atmosphere of an abandoned site, laying bare its scars and singular details. This immersive exhibition transforms a sealed space into an open arena for exploration and dialogue within the historic Palazzo Soranzo Novello @palazzosoranzonovello - a captivating landmark in Castelfranco Veneto.

Here, nearly 30 artists craft layered narratives through sculptures, paintings, drawings, ambient sounds, videos, intimate or expansive installations, photographs, live performances, and poetry. Their works invite you to reframe old memories while forging fresh ones.

Wander freely: every room and hidden nook, revived by the project, awaits your interpretation - or quiet contemplation.

We’re still starry-eyed from the unforgettable evening at the exclusive opening of “The Big Dipper Will Foretell the Future of the Roma” by Małgorzata Mirga-Tas @gosiamirga at Collezione Maramotti @collezione_maramotti in Reggio Emilia!

We dove headfirst into the vibrant world of #MałgorzataMirgaTas, a Polish-Romani artist who’s rewriting narratives through her breathtaking textile art.

After representing Poland at the 59th Biennale Arte in Venice in 2022 with her majestic project Re-enchanting the World, the artist is returning to Italy with this original exhibition conceived for #CollezioneMaramotti.

Drawing on vintage photographs and family albums, oral accounts and conversations, books and archival sources, Mirga-Tas has intertwined her own complex narrative of the Roma people with stories of figures from the Sinti community in Reggio Emilia, whom she had meaningful opportunities to meet, get to know and collaborate with.

Each work pulled us in, stitching together the Collezione and the community of Reggio Emilia with every vibrant thread. We stood in awe, surrounded by friends and art that empowers and inspires.

Two weeks left to see #SexAndSolitude at @palazzostrozzi where desire, solitude, and raw wounds transformed into art. #PalazzoStrozzi presents Tracey Emin’s first major Italian exhibition, a visceral journey turning pain into form and the deeply personal into the profoundly universal.

Curated by Arturo Galansino @arturogalansino, the exhibition showcases over sixty @tracyeminstudio’s works from the 1990s to today: instinctive paintings, raw drawings, bronze sculptures, videos, photographs, embroidered textiles, and Emin’s iconic neon texts. Each room unfolds as a chapter, weaving a story of struggle, rebirth, vulnerability, and strength.

Emin’s art lays bare a fragile yet resilient body, confronting illness, sexuality, lost love, desire, and identity. Her work is unflinching—sharp, direct, and deeply moving, with pain met by an unyielding will to endure.

@girlsinmuseums immersed in this powerful exhibition, where Emin’s voice resonates through Palazzo Strozzi’s halls, transforming the space into a living narrative.
