Day 16 of the #octoberalchemy26 challenge hosted by @glitterbyink & @nwitzcrafts

Breathe: Freedom ~

Journey to Peace 🕊️

Free will is a sacred right. Freedom comes from knowing what you want and standing by your decisions. ❤️

Don't ever let anyone take away your freedom.🧛🏻‍♂️

Light some Dragon's Blood incense and feel the power of the dragon in you! 🐉

Work your magick and take flight. ✨

"I am strong, powerful and taking clear action in my life." - Christopher Penczak

This mansion is haunted and has been empty for decades. A Zoox taxi drives by, empty. 🚗

Day 15 of the #octoberalchemy26 challenge hosted by @glitterbyink & @nwitzcrafts

Journey to Peace ✌️

Breathe: Awaken ~

The asteroid, Chiron, is the Wounded Healer mythologically tied to heroism, suffering and healing. Our Chiron placement helps us turn our tenderest wounds and insecurities into tools for healing those very same vulnerabilities and secrets. 🏹

Dandelion is the perfect representation of strength and healing. The durable Dandelion has been used medicinally for aeons across many cultures. As a healing herb, Dandelion cleanses the liver and kidneys, assisting in renewing and restoring. 🌾

Spiritually, Dandelion inspires us to transform our wounds from old hurts, secrets and shame into a catalyst for healing, discovery, courage, strength and awakening. 💫

The realm of Numina assists you. "Seek inspiration in twilight wanderings." - Forest Fae

Breathe: Trust ~

We don't often see a Knight of Air like this. No wild horse - but the "courage, determination and vigilance" shine through the girl's eyes. The spyglass is a tool of action for discovering a mission and purpose. She trusts that she will find what she's looking for. 🧭

An Astrantia is a flowering plant that relies on the Earth as well as the Ethers. Trusting, while breathing in and grounding down through the soil. "Through seasons and tides, made of stardust, we stride." 🌷

Sorry part of the word, Strength, was slightly hidden. Maybe my strength hasn't come through quite yet.

Some random pics: a new pouch from Etsy, Douglas Fairbanks Jr. & Katherine Heoburn in a mood, Photoshop practice 🌸 and my favorite art supply store. 🖌️

Breathe: Listen ~

Listen... Is that a monster or is it a blessing in disguise? 🐉

"Perhaps everything that frightens us is, in its deepest essence, something helpless that wants our love." - Angie Sullins

Once we listen and discover what is really hiding behind our monster, we will earn a sense of peace. ⛵

"Rainbows were read as signs of changing weather, often appearing after storms." - Lennox Rees 🌈

Day 12 of the #octoberalchemy26 hosted by @glitterbyink & @nwitzcrafts

Bless: Wonder ~

The bridge in this card makes me think of the Golden Gate Bridge with my apartment nestled back in the misty horizon. The image also makes me think of a pier in Southern California. 🌊

I've been worried about those beaches, as they're getting pummeled by hurricane Rachel. I grew up down there, and when I think of my old home and linger on those memories, wondering if everyone will be OK, it's as if my spirit travels to those places. 🏄🏻‍♀️

The guidebook says there are worlds beyond this one and some of them exist within us. That is what strong, familiar memories feel like ~ as if we're travelling to another world. The advice is to let your soul wander and your mind, rather than overthinking, relax and wonder at these worlds.💫

Day 11 of the #octoberalchemy26 challenge hosted by @glitterbyink & @nwitzcrafts

Bless: Gratitude ~

I'm grateful for the freedom to make intelligent choices, knowing that Spirit and my intuition guide me in exploring new beginnings. What am I attracted to?❤️‍🔥

This vampire deck comes with a generous guidebook that tells a story from the first card to the last. Each card is filled with symbols, described in the book. 🐙

The Fool has a secret question: "Where do I begin?"

I really can't stand these jets, but I couldn't resist going up on the roof & capturing some highlights. They were sooo loud!! 🚀 🚀🚀🔊🔊🔊🔊🙉

Day 9 & 10 of the #octoberalchemy26 challenge hosted by @glitterbyink & @nwitzcrafts

Bless: Connect & Honour ~

With the Two of Wands comes a restless feeling. An opportunity of importance to connect with a higher purpose awaiting you on the near horizon. You'll want to heed the call, for it is heralding from above. ⚡

The Queen of Cups is a gentle, intuitive and loyal soul of honour. Perhaps the call is simply being there for your loved one or somebody who needs your empathy and understanding. 🌈

Yet again, this could be a burning chance to take care of yourself this time. Honour yourself. Tie up any loose threads and listen deeply to your intuition before heading confidently through a new archway. 💗

Bless: Magic ~

In liminal zones, like the ocean's edge or a forested path, a secret cave, a special address... And magical hours: Dawn, dusk & midnight ~ these are some of the possible criteria for finding your magical place. Where two or three realms exist on the edge. 🎐

Bring with you a ritual with sacred words, charms and witchy items.

"Connect with the Divine ~ Find the magic within." 🪄

The Mantra card says, "There is magic here "🖤

And so there is ✨

Day 7 of the #octoberalchemy26 challenge hosted by @glitterbyink & @nwitzcrafts

Bless: Memory ~

Interesting that I pulled these two cards together. I love this deck so much! 🕷️

The cool crow has seen his share of heartache, as is evident by his red heart pierced with three arrows. But look closely and you will see that it is actually a pendant. 💘

He is in his Nine of Cups now: enjoying life and receiving practically all of his wishes. Memories of his broken heart have all but washed away, and he is rewarded with emotional abundance. 🐳

Still, he wears the pendant as a reminder of all the work he's accomplished in dealing with his grief and loss. 💦

I chose this song, because hearing this particular part near the end always makes me feel like crying. 💔

Day 5 & 6 of the #octoberalchemy26 challenge hosted by @glitterbyink & @nwitzcrafts

Burn: Reclaim & Transform ~

Coraline loses herself, a little, and definitely loses her parents for a while. You could say that she transforms by being curious, adventurous, and ultimately fearless, as she roams through many doors and hidden passageways. 🚪

The apparently empty rooms are not really empty, though they are dark, as in shadowy. 🖤

Coraline reclaims her real family. She learns to appreciate them and to be very particular about who belongs in her circle of friends. 💞

Fleet Week is about to invade San Francisco. They begin with the Blimp, which is thankfully silent. 🤍

Burn: Ignite ~

The Fee Lion faerie is the one who gives you a look and reminds you in a rather gruf voice that you need igniting 🔥 it's usually a household chore, a certain responsibility or just an art project you told yourself you'd like to enjoy.😼

Have a little faith in yourself. You know you'll feel better once the thing is underway. Remember: "Faith is trust with a pinch of doubt " 🧂

Maybe you need to retreat once more into your cave to think, meditate and gather courage. 🪷

Carl Jung said that caves are places of magic, transformation and rebirth 🐦‍🔥 and that "the cave we are most afraid to enter turns out to be the source of what we are looking for."

Day 3 of the #octoberalchemy26 challenge hosted by @glitterbyink & @nwitzcrafts

Burn: Forgive ~

Forgiving can take time. It could be that I need to step away, remember the tiniest blessings in my life, come back to myself and treat myself to some loving self-care. 🦋

Whether I need to forgive someone or not, I trust in myself and keep going. The right decision will come to me after I have moved on. 🐞

Often, when I've forgiven someone, or even forgiven myself, I forget and I have to remember that I've already forgiven that person or that circumstance. 💕

"Look with eyes of wonder at the little miracles of the world. When you do this, the gates of all good things swing open for you " 🪷
