My name is Fab, I am an Italian award-winning marketer and author, who has been living in the UK for over 13 years. ⁠

Here are a few things you may not know about me⁠

I love coffee and marketing in equal measure, so much so that I started a modern marketing school teaching positive impact marketing @altmarketingschool⁠

I have 21 tattoos on my body, each one with a very specific meaning, two of which are in Russian as I studied it at Uni⁠

I am chronically depressed and have suffered from severe anxiety since I was 10yo. This journey with my mental health taught me so much about resilience and inspired me to be helping others find their unique voice⁠

I have been sober for 6 years and discovered that my energy, charm and fun are totally natural and part of my family's genes⁠
⁠
I am obsessed with band t-shirts and currently own 19 different ones. It's a trademark of mine that celebrates my love of music and the fact that "marketers" should not look a certain way⁠

I was named the "queen of GIFs" multiple times. No matter how Millennial it makes me, a GIF is worth a thousand words⁠

Presenting used to make me want to hide under the table.

Now I've done 300+ trainings and talks, and the thing I've learned is that confidence comes from being clear, not from being perfect 💛

So on Thursday 29 October at 6:30pm UK, I'm teaming up with @canva_uk for a free live session on Presenting Your Ideas with Canva, part of Canva World Tour.

The same girl who spent her 20s introducing unassuming Italians to Jagerbombs and scrape make up off the morning after a night out..

I recently heard this sentence: “Wisdom does not come from counting the years, but from how we live them.”

It stuck with me because it can be applied to life as much as it can be applied to our careers.

I believe that both of them can be true 😉

The years can give you the wisdom, but it depends on how you live them / how you use that time

One of my favourite ways to live them is to focus a bit less on the hard skills…

…and a bit more on working on our confidence, our empathy, and just how to be f*cking good humans 🤷‍♀️

Which is also why I built a whole school @altmarketingschool that focuses as much on KPIs as it focuses on the human skills by @fabgiovanetti
