I’m afraid the night left me soulless 🗓️ 4–22 June 📍Réservoir d’eau, Lorient.  Everything felt out of place. The slow, imperceptible shift of a memory that cannot be named. Patagonia. Something was left behind here, forgotten. Yet it remains, still working in silence. At the bottom of lakes and glaciers, along straits and marshes, collective memory trickles, stagnates, collapses, downloads, streams, evaporates. Neither document nor story, but a mental space where water still whispers the memory of the world.

An installation conceived for this magical underground space, as part of the Spectres d’Histoire(s) de l’Aqueduc festival, thanks to @lelieu.galerie & @cie.hostile

Is there dog experts over here?

To me they look like Borzoi or Russian Hunting Sighthound. Is that right? I read it’s a Russian breed of hunting dogs formerly used for wolf hunting. Actually, until 1936, the breed was known as the Russian Wolfhound.

Last night I read an old Sami legend told by Lisbet Nilsdotter

Once there were giants living in the mountains who had tame moose, just like the Sami had reindeer. They were the eldest, but another group of people came along that the giants didn’t want to live with. The giants arranged their own deaths: they dug deep pits and dressed themselves in their finest and threw themselves into the pits.
The moose, the poor moose, grew wild and were persecuted.
