Currently, Jhanique Lovejoy @jhaniquelovejoy has a phenomenal exhibition up at the @dyckmanfarmhouse from June 6th to October 26th, 2026. The exhibition is entitled “Soon Come, Likkle More” it features an installation of new photographic works that incorporate Black photographic praxis through alternative processes, textiles, and sculpture. Take a day and plan a visit.

Join us June 14th 1pm-4pm on the 4th floor @bronxriverartcenter for our Sunday Art Club. This event is free and open to all ages and skill levels. All supplies are provided, but if you have favorites of your own, feel free to bring them. Please share this post with artists and creatives you know. We want our community to continue growing. This club was founded to provide a safe space for artists and creatives across the community to connect and create freely.

What an exciting weekend, the weather was perfect ✨☀️✨and we got to work with the incredible @dani.belzzz ✨💃🏽✨ Thank you so much for all of the wonderful poses, you did such an incredible job. Thank you to all of the artists who stopped by, there were so many beautiful pieces made that day. Thank you @seedsoftheleague @bronxriverartcenter and @aslnyc for your generous support in making this program possible.

Painting is a lot of fun, but it can be very stressful, there are so many things I have to balance and keep in mind. Plus with watercolor, once you make a mistake, it’s really hard to come back from it.

This drawing was a nice break from the usual routine. Drawing always leaves me with a feeling of safety and peace. It feels like I’m returning to my essence, back when I would sit in front of the TV and draw for my mom, the place where it all started.
