Due to unexpectedly going inpatient last month and being unable to work for a short period of time (along with a series of other health events in the last year) I am opening up commissions to help make rent this month + maybe fund a couple small gifts for friends and family. The holidays are unforgiving and I have the very lucky gift of being an artist at a time where making things is very valuable.

If you have some funds to spare and enjoy my art, shoot me a DM! My prices are typically $10-$40 depending on the type of commission, but this go around I'll be fairly flexible with pricing as I gotta make ends meet.

TLDR: This job has shown me the good in people, and has provided me opportunities I could never have imagined. Plus, I get to work with insects all day, even if I do have to take care of the problematic ones. Primarily invasive species. by @fablesandfraud

When I look at you my brain just kind of… stops working. I can’t quite wrap my head around how much I love you still, or how someone like you exists. When you smile it’s like the air around me clears and everything feels lighter. Like the world remembered it’s supposed to be beautiful and full of color.

You have this incredibly grounded sense of reality, but you still find ways to move with me in my chaos. You’re the strongest person I know. Watching you keep going and learning, even when it’s hard, makes me want to be better too.

You’ve fought through a fucked up life and you still show up, trying to be better. You say it’s just the bare minimum, but it’s not. It’s everything.

You’ve made my life feel alive in a way I didn’t know was possible. You make ordinary things feel kind of magical just by being there. I used to only feel that way about my interests: animals, plants, nature. But your presence and outlook have lent that beauty to everything. You’ve helped me become more patient, thoughtful, and brave. Partly because you lead by example, and partly because you take the time and effort to teach me.

I know I don’t always understand you completely. You’re kind of this fascinating, intricate piece I get to keep coming back to, and painting, and perfecting. But that’s what I love too. You keep me curious. You keep me growing.

And I just love you. Stupidly and deeply. Being with you is the best thing I've ever experienced Lor<3 by @fablesandfraud
