The idea of soaping seemed impossible at first, but when you slow down & observe the art of it you'll notice it's the little things that will set you up for a successful start.🤝🏽

Here are some tips when prepping your space;

👉🏽Gather ALL the materials & equipment needed in one place.
✅This will save you time & prevent you from having to search for items while you are in the middle of soaping
👉🏽Prep a work space that is clean, dry & WELL ventilated.
✅Soap making can produce fumes, so it is important to have good airflow in your space
👉🏽Wear protective gear.
✅like goggles,gloves, & an apron, to protect your skin & eyes from splashes & spills.
👉🏽Read through the recipe & instructions carefully B4 you start.
✅ It's imperative that you understand all the steps.
👉🏽Measure out all of your ingredients in advance so that you have everything you need ready to go.

Here's a tip to ensure you can yield a desirable soap bar;

👉🏽Combine your exfoliant, colorant, or powdered herbs in part of your oil phase, before adding in your lye solution
✅ Dissolving your additives can help avoid any chunks, gritty spots in your final product.

Proud soap mom moment!

I crafted my first recipe for CP (Cold process) soap! It took me about a year to perfect & i cant wait to make many more variations of my recipe. Of course each soap will have a purpose & will aid in tackling different skin concerns.

This beauty is named “Squeaky Clean”
Providing our bodies with a gentle yet effective cleanse.

This bar formulated with Colloidal oats will leave your SKN soothed, refreshed & revived🤭
The PH sits around 7-9 making it perfect for your skin

I haven’t decided when I’d like to release this soap but it will be in the upcoming months hopefully! Thank you all🤍

As a small business owner you’ll wear MANY hats, to ensure your business has all the departments covered like; social media management, product knowledge, research, product making, marketing, photography etc.

There’s A LOT of things that are not shown as a small business owner, and I’d just like to share what that life can look like.

Honestly it can be overwhelming, but truthfully anything that requires hard work can feel like that.

Steps for blackhead extraction:

1. “Fully cleanse the skin with warm water to expand the pores and loosen the trapped sebum.

2. Place the tool over the blackhead and press gently on one side, moving the tool across the affected area.

3. Wipe away the sebum gently with a tissue.

4. Cleanse the area again to ensure the pore doesn't become infected.

5. Disinfect the blackhead extractor by washing it in hot, soapy water.”
