“Nel 2018 Jean‐Luc Godard ha presentato quello che sarebbe stato il suo ultimo lungometraggio, ‘Le livre d’image’, al Festival di Cannes. Nel film, Godard ha attinto ancora una volta agli espedienti che aveva utilizzato in una quindicina di titoli nei tre decenni precedenti, tra cui, in particolare, ‘Histoire(s) du cinéma’. […] Fabrice Aragno ha lavorato a stretto contatto con Godard a partire dai primi anni 2000 e ha contribuito attivamente a ‘Le livre d’image’. La sua installazione alla Biennale Arte 2026, SENTIMENTS SIGNES PASSIONS (FEELINGS SIGNS PASSIONS): ABOUT JEAN-LUC GODARD’S LIVRE D’IMAGE, produce un’esperienza visiva e sensoriale completamente diversa rispetto al film originale, pur mantenendosi fedele alla logica di Godard.”

“In 2018, Jean‐Luc Godard presented what would be his last feature film, ‘The Image Book’ (‘Le livre d’image’), at the @festivaldecannes. In it, he drew once again on devices he had used in some fifteen titles over the previous three decades, including, notably, his ‘Histoire(s) du cinéma’. […] @fabricearagno collaborated closely with Godard beginning in the early 2000s and actively contributed to ‘The Image Book’. His installation at the Biennale Arte 2026, SENTIMENTS SIGNES PASSIONS (FEELINGS SIGNS PASSIONS): ABOUT JEAN-LUC GODARD’S LIVRE D’IMAGE, generates an entirely different visual and sensory experience than the original film, even while it remains true to Godard’s logic.”

Der Film „Le lac“ setzt seine Reise durch die Sprache von Rilke, Kleist und der Poesie fort. Morgen, Sonntag, ist er um 11:15 Uhr im Rex in Bern, um 12:00 Uhr im Xenix in Zürich und um 20:00 Uhr beim Funf Seen Festival in Sternberg zu sehen, wo ich ihn präsentieren werde. Das Buch „Le lac“ erscheint in einer speziellen deutschen Ausgabe zum Film.
