It’s October! And I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than with a quilted witch look! If you’re following @fabricmart then you’ve already seen some of my making of the witch’s hat. But I made more! A whole outfit to go with the hat! I made an oops. But I fixed it! The power of embroidery. One day I’ll add more to this but for now this works! The undershirt is The Regalia Blouse from True Bias. I made it with a Beige 100% Linen Shirt Weight Woven UMC 7155 r from Fabric Mart! The steps were more or less as follows: 1. Wash fabric. 2. Start ironing fabric and realize the detergent didn’t all wash out. 3. Rewash fabric. 4 iron and cut out fabric. 5. Remove cat from project. 6. Sew shirt following the pattern. 7. Have a very hard time turning out the ties for the back opening of the shirt. 8. Remove cat from project. 9. Give up on ties and opt for a hook and eye. 10. Finish shirt according to pattern. 11. Remove cat from project. 12. Photos on a spooky and very in-use covered bridge. Your experience with the pattern may or may not be the same. Regardless of your ownership of cats. Make sure to twirl! Addie loves to “help”. :) by @fabricmart
Pizza, pumpkins, and a Halloween classic — our kind of after-hours plans! 🎃🍕 The Fabric Mart team stayed after closing for a pumpkin carving night, complete with good food, It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, and plenty of creativity. We’d love to hear how you like to celebrate the season! #FabricMartFabrics #BehindTheScenes #TeamFabricMart #fabricmartfamily by @fabricmart
