When British design, British textiles and skilled craftsmanship come together, the result is simply stunning.

Working with the newly launched Beacons Collection by @ianmankin, we’ve created a collection of beautiful soft furnishings, bringing the character, colour and texture of these British-made fabrics to life in the home.

From ruffled, bordered curtains in Ticking Stripe 2 Raspberry, to cushions and bolsters in Ticking Stripe 2 Mustard, Raspberry and Plum, our new collection brings together a beautiful mix of pattern and detail. Our favourite has to be the bespoke bay window seat pad in Falmouth Stripe Plum and Ecru – made to measure to create a comfortable and considered finish to this beautiful space.

I'm often asked about my kitchen. Painted in Farrow & Ball’s India Yellow, it’s a colour I never tire of. In a north-facing room, it has the most wonderful ability to shift with the seasons – bringing a joyful warmth and luminosity in the summer, and a richer, cocooning depth through the cooler months.

So, when I had the opportunity to work with Ian Mankin and their beautiful new Beacons Collection, I was utterly delighted. The Falmouth Stripe in Rust/Mustard felt like the perfect choice.

Fine alternating stripes of mustard and hessian sit against a rich rust herringbone ground, creating a fabric that feels both playful and timeless. There is something wonderfully considered about the combination of colour, texture and pattern – a design that feels at home in a traditional setting, yet equally at ease in a more contemporary interior.

Woven just a few miles from our workroom in Lancashire, the fabric is crafted from a blend of linen and recycled cotton, giving it a beautiful natural texture, softness and durability. For me, it perfectly captures the enduring appeal of British textiles and thoughtful, beautifully made interiors.

For this curtain, we added a relaxed flop-over with ties in the same fabric – a small detail that gives the design an individual and slightly unexpected finish.

The Falmouth Stripe is also available in Ecru/Plum, Latte/Khaki, Dark Navy/Mocha and Grey/Mocha, each bringing its own character to a room.

We love creating curtains that feel entirely personal to a home – from the choice of fabric and colour to the smallest finishing details. If you have an idea for your own bespoke curtains, we would be delighted to work with you to bring it to life.

Autumn has officially arrived. Feeling a definite chill in the air. The SAD feeling creeps in all too quickly for me, so I try to alleviate the blues with a little autumn colourway, a flicker of a candle, a fairy light and soon we will be lighting our fire.

One of the easiest ways to bring some Autumn Joy is an Autumnal Table Setting, after what seems like months of outdoor dining, it's now time to create a cozy indoor space.

The first week in September and we are in the throws of our Photoshoot preparation. We are working with @ian_mankin and @selinalake

Our excitement is off the scale 🤩 with just a little stress thrown in for good measure.

We have designed and created new cushions, lumbars, bolsters, seatpads, curtains, cafe curtains and cupboard curtains. It has been a dream working with beautiful fabrics from the new Beacons Collection.

Enjoying creating our new cushion collections. I'm always happy creating with textiles, just never enough time. Clients often find this a difficult process and it can be. With Ian Mankin fabrics at the forefront of our soft furnishing designs, it's a joy as they all work so beautifully together.

Making our little Cabin in the Woods home from home was a joy. From metallic curtains with tie backs and huge curtain poles for tiny spaces, who does this 😂😂

To:

In the lounge area, we added mid brown gingham cottage pleat curtains and roman blinds. Cushions are Pomegranate Green Fabric from GP & J Baker, piped and backed in the brown gingham. British wool blankets for the colder months. We feel so lucky to be able to escape to the #lakes
