We're proud to see Sonia Payes back in Venice this year, showing at "Personal Structures" for the second time in a row.

On view now in "Personal Structures", the European Cultural Centre's exhibition during the 2026 Venice Biennale. "Emergence 1" stands in the Giardini della Marinaressa, by the water, until November 22.

She is back in the same gardens where her bronze stood at the water's edge in 2024. As in all of her work, the face is her daughter's.

"Personal Structures" runs across Palazzo Mora, Palazzo Bembo and the Marinaressa Gardens. The gardens are open 10 am to 6 pm, free entry.

On Wednesday, Sonia is ArtDrop No. 8: three of her works, for one week.
