Okay, real talk from your fabulous best friend in Bali.

That’s the size of the global wellness industry right now. Bigger than sports. Bigger than tourism. Nearly four times bigger than pharmaceuticals. We have built an economy larger than most nations around the premise that human beings need to lie down.

Strip away the marketing, and the science is actually on our side

When it comes to saunas, data shows 2,315 Finnish men tracked over twenty-one years, and the 4–7-times-a-week crowd came out with 40% lower all-cause mortality.

Cold is the slow burn. A 2025 review of 11 trials found that the stress relief kicks in around 12 hours after you get out, plus better sleep, better quality of life, and 29% fewer sick days in one 3,000-person study.

Translation: the sauna is the investment, the ice bath is the interest. Both pay.
