2024 was just simply “horribilis annus” for me filled with heavy challenges...😓

In May 2018, my Spanish darlings took me to a wonderful Elektronik Pik Nik right in front of the court house.
We danced, laughed and had a wonderful time...

Five years later, we’re crazier, funnier and partied even harder...

Almost two years ago, my plans backfired.🤯🤯

I really didn’t know what to say, do, think or even how to act… The pain was tremendous. Slowly by slowly, I dimmed my light… HOWEVER four months ago, I decided to let the sun shine back in… 😎😎😎

This is one of the most wonderful experiences in my life. Having my voice mixed with lovely songs by the amazing @djkwistax and the crazy @corbi85. The cover was designed by @sumoartwork

I have been wearing hair extensions in all possible forms but decided to have my hair braided for almost a year now.
Why move to braids? I wanted something more authentic, ethnic, beautiful, realistic and more Afro-centric. 💅🏾
To many this is a political statement and there is no beauty in what I am doing…
I’ve, often, been told that I should focus on a more Euro-centric hairstyle to which I simple answer :”My hair, my rules!”. I don’t understand how my hair can be such a topic of discussion… The only discussion should be :”Am I happy with my achievements?”

I still can’t understand how my hair becomes a topic of discussion.
I view this is in a very simple way: I am a woman who loves changing her looks so it means that my hair, my style, my make-up… anything to do with my appearance will constantly change (or at last as often as my wallet allows me to).There is a world of possibilities out there: that’s what I am going to chase… different possibilities and opportunities….
