$You’ve seen makeup inspired by outfits, by art, by others’ makeup. But have you seen makeup inspired by music? BIOS by @zorrovian has been gracing my speakers daily for over a month. The intro makes me feel like I’m floating in a video game menu and when the drum & bass starts, I feel like I’m in a galactic police chase. Equal parts ethereal and adrenaline-inducing. Along with the space bandit story in my head, I picture neon and metallic hues of blue and green, and refracting squares in a spiral sequence. This was my attempt at giving it shape! Used liners from @glisten_cosmetics and @moiracosmetics and the Hershey’s cookies n cream eyeshadow palette from @glamlite by @faceart_gram$

Hi friends!! Slowly defrosting over here💛

Somewhere between meeting the tiresome demands of adulthood and pouring into other artistic mediums, I drifted away from creative makeup. Planning (or winging (pun intended)) looks, creating them, and documenting them takes time—a resource that’s easy to become stingy with when the 24 hrs of the day can only stretch so much.

But *adult shit* the past couple of weeks reminded me time isn’t a waste when you’re doing something that makes you happy.
