Knowing when an enforceable agreement says too much vs too little,
is a matter of the heart, experience, a little law, & gut feeling.

There ARE fundamental terms, but they are not necessarily required IN the communications that create your agreement.

Whether your agreement is definite enough, lacking, or too gawdy 😉
is a matter of
👉🏾 instinct AND clarity.👈🏾

Sometimes, in lawsuits, courts might help a flimsy deal by filling it out what's missing,
by using something called
'Gap fillers',
but
what they NOT gon do,
is CREATE the contract for the parties.

So if those gaps are too flimsy, you might find your deal void.

On the flip,
doing too much, can be just as messy as not doing enough.

Say less.
Just whats necessary.
Basically my Ma's recipe for roux. She won't tell it, but she says,

💎"Just 'eyeball' it. You'll know when its dark enough." 😉

COMMENT below if you have questions about the CONTRACT OFFER.

SAVE this for #lawschoolfinals time. Cause you're gonna forget. And a lot of Profs don't mention this bc they use it as a testing element. 😬

🤫 Dont tell FaceChat Contracts b telling all the #contractlaw #lawschool101 ☕

1️⃣💋Unilateral Offers make a promise, asking the receiving party to perform a task.

2️⃣💋Bilateral Offers make a promise, asking g the receiving party to also make a promise for a take to be done at a later time.

3️⃣💋General Offers are tricky, buuuuut they are usually rewards made on a first to do the task, wins the reward type time, like the ones you see on crime shows or RL investigations.

Now, I am licensed but ion know erthang😬...

So don't be shy Contract Cousins
if you know of any other Offer Types
let it rip!!

💙⚖Contract Law is The Law Of Relationships;
How people & businesses (through their people), create bonds to secure resources, capital, & historically, power.

It also shows the underside of human relationships, the losses, the setups, & set backs...and how to recover.

I've learned a lot about life, the Black experience, & my experience through the psychology of people by lessons in #contractlaw .

If I know one thing for sure, it's that
the
Offer Communication, like the head of arms, the father figure, the lead, has to be solid.
Can't be a ❄.

🆘️ #firstyearlawstudent you must get a full grip on what acts and conditions take a plain ol promise to a legally enforceable obligation; and 'why'...

⚖There are different types of promises.
👉🏾Aleatory, Illusory, Bilateral, Unilateral...

⚖Promises can be made in different ways.
👉🏾Spoken, Written, Conduct

💥Not all of em are enforceable.

💥Not all of em are for bs either.

💥Just knowing this can be the diff between pass/fail, practice/malpractice.

🦋Ydig.
