Cooking up something special for the team at ITV 🎬✨

Faceflavour catered ITV’s “Big Lunch” and brung together a spread full of flavour, culture and good energy 🌍🍴It was so great seeing everyone enjoying the food together.

On the menu we had :
- Curry Goat
- Jerk Chicken
- Jerk Salmon
- Vegan Curry
- White Rice
- Rice & Peas
- Jollof Rice
- Macaroni Cheese
- Coleslaw

Such a warm and welcoming office environment. we loved the space so much we just had to take a few photos while we were there haha!📸💚

Our mission at Faceflavour is to serve authentic, culturally inspired cuisine that brings people together and celebrates our diverse heritage.

I’m deeply grateful to @2020levels for their unwavering support, invaluable mentorship, and business lessons.

We brought the flavour AGAIN ✌️ to LADbible Group with a catered lunch, and it really went down a treat.

On the menu:
🍗 Jerk chicken
🍛 Curry goat
🌱 Vegan curry
🍚 Rice and peas
🍚 White rice
🧀 Macaroni cheese
🥟 Beef and chicken patties

We love being able to walk into a room and fill it not only with the aromas of our Jamaican roots, but with people’s excitement too. Bringing joy into the workspace is what we’re all about, and showcasing real, authentic Jamaican flavours during this month is truly significant, because representation really does matter. 🖤💛💚

Another beautifully curated Mediterranean spread for the office ✨

This one was all about generous flavours, vibrant colour and that relaxed, abundant style of dining we love creating. From succulent grilled chicken shish and beautifully cooked lamb chops to fragrant garlic & coriander rice, every element was prepared to bring something special to the table.

Alongside the grills, we served silky tzatziki, creamy hummus, warm pita bread and a fresh Greek salad packed with crisp vegetables, herbs and all the bright Mediterranean flavours that tie the whole feast together.

A table designed for sharing, grazing and bringing people together.
Judging by the empty trays, it went down an absolute treat. 🤍

What a day at the @2020levels Job Fair. Faceflavour was there to cater, but as an alumni of the program myself, it felt like coming home 🏠

Seeing so many young people show up and put their best foot forward in front of employers like Jacobs, Virgin Media O2, Tesco’s and many more was genuinely inspiring. So much help, expertise and opportunity being offered in one room.🏠

The panel talks gave real insight into a day in the life at these companies, and the alumni panel hit different. Hearing former 20/20 Levels participants share their own journeys, being unapologetically themselves and taking risks along the way, was so powerful 🖤.

The alumni panel was the real highlight for me. A few takeaways that stuck with me:

Treat every part of your life like a project. Build systems that support you.

Stay visible. Stay open. Opportunity finds the people who show up for it.

Have the AUDACITY . Authenticity is a risk worth taking.

@2020levels @mr.oye gave me so much, from the network to the confidence to build Faceflavour, and I’m proud to say I came through this program as a pitch night winner too. If anyone’s interested in bettering their career or is loooking to take their business to the next level..APPLY! It’s life changing 🤞

It’s graduation day! 💐

I found this song to be incredibly fitting as I try my best in ‘everything that I do’. It was always instilled in me by parents and family members that if I try and give my best effort, I couldn’t fail.

My first stride of inspiration came from my aunty Emma, who took a leap of faith after school to relocate and study in Bristol. I was convinced I would follow in her footsteps, or at the very least, try to adopt her bravery in leaving home to chase her dreams in a new city.

Leaving home and attending UoN was definitely a pivotal moment for me. Although I lost the ability to see family and friends every day, it was exchanged for countless moments of opportunity for my self-development. One being @faceflavour , being one of the first to be awarded a fully funded scholarship and bursary to work for myself on a work placement, which shaped my entrepreneurial spirit entirely.

I am just beyond grateful for God, my parents, grandparents, friends and every single mentor and organisation that supported me and my dreams 🤍

To my Aunty Emma, I know you would have been the FIRST to call or to send a card showering me with congratulations and love if you were here. I will love and miss you forever ♾️, I hope you knew you were the spark and catalyst for it all 💜🩷 taken in University of Nottingham by @faceflavour

This is what corporate catering should feel like in summer ☀️

Fresh, colourful, and made to be enjoyed without the food coma!

Our salad mains are built for exactly this kind of weather .

•Chicken Salad 🍗

Tender chicken breast slices served with a crisp mixed leaf salad, cherry tomatoes, spring onion, cucumber, olives, and fresh coriander, drizzled with a classic French dressing.

•Tuna Salad 🐟

Flaked tuna mixed with creamy mayonnaise, paired with a vibrant mixed leaf salad, free-range boiled egg, cherry tomatoes, red onion, cucumber, and olives, finished with a touch of French dressing.

•Falafel & Hummus Salad 🥗

Golden falafel and a dollop of smooth hummus, garnished with juicy pomegranate seeds, served with mixed leaf salad, sliced cucumber, fluffy rice, and a blend of red and white quinoa, fresh mint, and parsley, accompanied by pickled red cabbage

Every box finishes with a freshly baked cookie selection or a seasonal fruit platter, because even on the hottest days, dessert is non-negotiable.

Almost a year ago, I stood on a stage and pitched @faceflavour and won over £10,000 in prize funding 🎉

I remember feeling incredibly nervous, but at the same time completely confident in FaceFlavour, our mission, and what I knew we could achieve.

Looking back now, it’s amazing to see how much has happened in just one year…

With the support of the funding and opportunities that followed, FaceFlavour has gone on to cater for some of the UK’s biggest organisations, bringing the flavours into corporate spaces. We’ve been able to do exactly what I set my heart and mind on doing: creating representation through food and showing that diverse cuisines deserve a seat at every table.

When I stood on that stage, I had a vision. Today, I’m proud to say that vision is becoming a reality.

Alongside growing FaceFlavour, I’ve also balanced my final year at the University of Nottingham, which has been one of the biggest challenges and achievements of my life.

I’m incredibly grateful to the @uniofnottingham , the Witty Scholarship Foundation, @ingenuityimpact , @beleve_uk and @2020levels for the unwavering support, opportunities, mentorship, and belief they’ve shown me throughout this journey. So much of FaceFlavour’s growth has been made possible because of these organisations and the people behind them.

A year later, we’re still growing, still learning, and still serving food that tells a story.

Here’s to everything we’ve achieved so far and everything that’s still to come. 🤍

Okay but can we talk about sides dishes for a second?! 🥺

Rice & peas. Mac & cheese. Sweet plantain. Steamed cabbage. Salt fish fritters. Callaloo. Festival dumplings. Coleslaw!!

There’s something about a side dish that completes a meal in a way nothing else can. And Jamaican sides? I might be biased… but I truly believe they’re the best in the world. The possibilities are endless..
