Making bread and meds over here in the kitchen today!
Something in me comes alive in fall time as seasons shift. Not as hot as it once was, not as cold as it’s going to be.
I’ve been trying to stay deeply intentional about the time I spend during my day, and what I’m giving myself to, as the seasons of my life change also.
I don’t fully know where I’m going or what it all holds, but I know I feel alive in the kitchen. Making remedies, baking goodies, or just preparing a meal that nourishes, fills me to the brim.
I pray one day soon my dinner table isn’t empty. That’s when I’ll know I’ve made it.
That’s the season I’ve been preparing for!

Congratulations again to Amanda and Josh!
There wasn't a dry eye in the house y'all!
Thankfully I was busy preparing food and only got a small glimpse of the intimate, emotional ceremony... I was bawling. The happiest of tears.
Their story makes you believe in love.
Gives you hope.
Makes you really see God's hand all over your life even when you aren't aware.
Truly honored to be there to help, but also to witness two souls becoming one, and be excited about it. There's just as much laughter around these two as there are happy tears!
The reception was a mini high school reunion- sprinkled in with folks who used to work for and frequent my grandma's restaurant. Not to mention a special lady I met years ago escaping a violent situation. She just held me and said how beautiful I was. Idk if she knew how much that meant to me. She saw me at my worst.
Add in all the lovely ladies there to stand up for Amanda, I feel so full. This whole experience truly fed my soul.
Honestly this weekend wasn't work, it was so much more than that.
It was a promise.
A reminder.
A "look how far you've come, moment".
I really just tried to take it all in.
Seeing and feeling the love.
Watching a family that shows up for each other. Friends that are like blood, always coming thru. And, about never giving up. Hope, always.
I love real Love. It always finds a way! 🫶🏼
