Oh, how you have changed my life. You have become my safe place to my leader, my protector, my greatest supporter, and my very best friend all wrapped into one incredible man. Every day, you remind me what it feels like to be truly loved, cherished, and understood.

You are one of the greatest blessings God has ever placed in my life, and I thank Him every day for bringing us together. I choose you today. I’ll choose you tomorrow. I’ll choose you through every joy, every challenge, every season, and every chapter that life brings. I will choose you for the rest of this lifetime, and if there is another, I will spend forever choosing you all over again.

My heart has found its home in you, and there is no one else I’d rather walk through life with than you.
I LOVE YOU

In My Element.

Mary Townes became more than just a place I had classes, it became a space where I grew, built genuine connections, and found people who supported me through it all. There were long days, laughter, stress, and moments that pushed me to keep going. I learned to trust the process, even when the results didn’t make sense yet.

This building gave me more than a biology degree, it gave me memories, relationships, and a version of myself I’m proud of. Walking away a Biology graduate and finally living in the moment I once prayed for feels surreal.

As a Black woman in STEM, this moment means even more. Black women make up only about 4.2% of biology science degree holders, making this accomplishment one I’ll never take for granted.

This chapter deserved an anthem.
