join us on fridays for fun with friends ! we plan on having chill rides, “lessons” on how to work on your bike and lots of food and drink. feel free to sign up via the qr code but it’s not required. all bikes are welcome however we do a lot of dirt riding so tire sizes less than 35 are not recommended unless you’re experienced. hope to see yall there! please not this is not an official OSU club (as of yet) we assume no responsibility for bodily harm, you are riding at your own risk. poster by @calvin.stelzer by @fackwitcity
cargo slow? cargo bike! this here is an old raleigh seneca i got in a trade, i looked at the diameter of the head tube and figured i should put a @crustbikes clydesdale fork on it! after a couple hours and a hurt thumb i finally got everything to fit! fun fact about these old bikes is that they used a bmx style head set that isnt 31.8! i had to learn that the hard way….. they also used inverted posts for the cantilevers dont even get me started on that. components: raleigh seneca frame crust clydesdale fork 31.8 velo orange head set velo orange gran cru bars velo orange brass spacers 20” wheel from the collective with a new 160 rotor trp spyre c front caliper rando break leavers sunrace 8s shifter shimano 105 rear deuralier 11-34 cassette from the collective shimano 122 sqr tpr bb sugino at cranks 44t & 40t chain rings (manual switch when needed) origin 8 pedals origin 8 seat post crusty brooks b17 thanks for lookin! by @fackwitcity

SURLY long haul trucker from 09! i got super lucky on this frame and built it up with a bunch of parts i had laying around. its a size 58 and can fit some meaty tires on it if squeeze em! it was originally a single speed but i figured 2x10 would be a lot more fitting. ik it looks like a 3 speed but thats just a bash guard chain ring. it is for sale so if you’re interested lmk! components: surly lht frame and fork 58cm ritchey front wheel bontrager “race” rear wheel wtb resolute 700x42c tires (tubes) tek pro v breaks w/cool stop pads shimano ultegra rear mech and cassette 10spd sugino at crank arms 40t + 26t WiDe RaNgE double w/44t bash guard camangolo front deurailer (record? not sure) ritchey headset shimano tear down tube shifter micro shift bar end front shift 🤪 rando breaks leavers surly corner bars 42cm swift bags (not included with bike) brooks b17 seat (not included with bike) vo mojave bottle cage nitto 65 27.2 seat post thanks for looking! #surly #longhaultrucker #touringbike #altbikes by @fackwitcity

Smoke and Fire 400! boy was that an adventure! this is was my first race that i took part in, i wouldn’t call it much of a race and more of survival. it started in Boise idaho on thursday, the weather looked questionable but we never could have expected what would happen. riding through lightning storms at 1am in an open field with a 60+ pound bike was definitely a first for me. the views were amazing the mountains we climbed were beautiful. i learned about a lot about how to keep my chin up when shit hits the fan and i’m glad i made it back to boise in one piece. i made it back in just over four days after taking an alternate route. i’ll be back next year more prepared and with a way lighter bike! the single track sections were gnarly as shit and i’m surprised that my 45c tires faired as well as they did. this was genuinely one of the hardest things i’ve done both mentally and physically. i wanna give a huge shoutout to the amazing community in boise that helped all the racers get through this grueling challenge we couldn’t have done it with out you! #smokeandfire400 #bikepacking #pittoilets by @fackwitcity
nice ol joannou racer i picked up and fixed up. ngl the only reason i bought it was for the brooks seat that came with it then i put a coaster wheel on it and cleaned her up! its for sale if you want it! the seat post is fucked but other than that it’s nice. measured out to 20inches but the seat won’t go down. would only sell it to someone over 5’10”. thanks for looking! by @fackwitcity

2026 SURLY Steamroller! When Surly announced they were dropping a new steamroller I was so excited, then they made it purple?! cmon. Im getting rid of my other fixie and just riding this one from now on. what now? 1,454 miles 91,000+ ft elv gain 101hrs moving time On July 4th I set out to ride my bike from Corvallis oregon to the Mexico boarder in California. It was one of the dumbest and most fun things Ive ever done. I learned a lot about my self and my bike, I learned what every road sign means and why people hate roadies. But most of all I learned my limits and what me and my body is capable of. Safe to say pushing century rides for 13 days isn’t kind to the mind or the body but boy it’s rewarding. I’m dumbfounded by the fact that i didn’t get a puncture the whole ride or have a single mechanical failure. I smoked 4 packs of cigarettes on the journey and i’m not proud of it but some how it helped. i lost my mind a couple times and cried more than id like to admit. i would definitely do it again but maybe a little more mileage and more days to explore. you are capable of more than you think you just have to trick you self into doing it. we all have a common enemy, the wind, the sun, and our thoughts. I can, I will, I must, I did. by @fackwitcity
