Had an AMAZING time racing VEGAS TO RENO THE OTHER WAY 30TH ANNIVERSARY WITH @bestinthedesert!! There was a total of 352 total race entries. We started 33rd off the line in moto. There were 214 total finishers, we finished 23rd overall in moto and 98th overall across all classes. With a total race time of 9hrs and 36mins that’s 53 mph average race pace. Looking foward to getting back to the drawing board and getting faster as a team. I can’t thank every body enough back at home and all across for all of the support that was given towards me and my amazing team! We will be back next year more hungry and stronger than ever! Thanks so much to our pit crew and sponsors. @tannersutton.tc_51 @124_jax_124 @danielsutton100 @k_sutton64 @team_tanner51 @alpinestarsmx @100percentmoto @odigrips @cometicgasket @klotz1959 @dusttheorymx @canvas_mx @ahmfactoryservices by @factory_edge

This customer brought their bike in for a crank rebuild simply because of the engine hours. During teardown, this is what we found. The rod had no up-and-down play and was still within spec for side clearance, but that doesn’t always mean it’s healthy. The thrust washers had already started wearing grooves into the crank pin. These washers don’t just control side clearance—they keep the connecting rod properly centered on the crank pin. Once the pin starts grooving, the wear accelerates, the load on the big-end bearing becomes uneven, and what looks like a perfectly usable crank can quickly become a ticking time bomb. This is why we inspect every component instead of relying solely on factory specifications. Preventing a catastrophic bottom-end failure is always cheaper than repairing one! by @factory_edge
