🌍 Located in the heart of the Caucasus, Armenia is a country with a rich history and vibrant culture. It was the first nation to adopt Christianity as its official religion in 301 AD. Its capital, Yerevan, is one of the oldest cities in the world.

🏔️ With stunning landscapes like Mount Ararat and the Tatev Monastery, Armenia is a perfect destination for history and nature lovers. Plus, its cuisine is a true delight. I was lucky enough to try delicious dishes thanks to my friends at Karas restaurant, who made my experience in Armenia absolutely unforgettable.

Country number 100 ✈️
After 8 years travelling the world I manage to visited 100 countries. Just half of the world! 😃
This place located between Eastern Europe and West Asia is famous for his wine, food and landscapes. It was part of the Soviet Union and will probably be part of the European Union soon. See you next time Georgia ☺️

After six years, we met up with my friend @nicopasqualiok on the Silk Road 😃

This Muslim country, which was part of the Soviet Union, gave us new adventures, stories and new friends that I hope to see again soon 😃

Uno de los países más extraños que me tocó visitar.
Algunas de sus máximas curiosidades:
-Darvaza (La Puerta del Infierno). En 1971 los soviéticos prendieron fuego unos gases que salían del interior de un cráter pensando que serían dañinos para la humanidad y que se apagaría en unos días. 53 años después sigue prendido.
-Ashjabad (su capital): todos sus edificios y los autos que circulan son blancos.
-Es la ciudad de todos los récords. La mayoría de ellos son monumentos sin sentido para mostrar hacia afuera una imagen de país.
-1991: independencia de la Unión Soviética. Desde entonces tuvo tres presidentes.
-1995: el país se declara neutral en todos los conflictos bélicos del mundo, por eso es que no tiene enemigos.
-Cuarta reserva natural de gas en el mundo. La mayor parte lo exporta a China.
-No hay libertad de expresión.
-Es un país musulmán pero la gran mayoría no son practicantes.
-La capital es denominada la Perla de Asia Central.
-Tiene la mezquita más grande de Asia Central.
-El gobierno prohibe el uso de internet, salvo excepciones que ellos pueden controlar.

One of the strangest countries that I have been to.
Some of it’s greatest curiosities:
-Darvaza (Gate of Hell). In 1971 the Soviets set fire to some gases that came out of the interior of the crater, thinking that they would be harmful to humanity and that it would extinguish in a few days. 53 years later it’s still on.

The kingdom of Bahrain is an island located in the Persian Gulf, with only 786 km2 and one and a half million of people, it is the smallest of the Arab countries.

En una semana en Jordania pude visitar una de las maravillas del mundo, nadar en el mar Muerto y el mar Rojo, dormir en el desierto, ir a las fronteras con Palestina, Siria, Egipto, Israel y Arabia Saudita, conocer más de la cultura árabe en su capital y el norte. Sin dudas uno de los lugares más lindos que visité! 😃

In one week in Jordan I was able to visit one of the wonders of the world, swim in the Dead Sea and the Red Sea, sleep in the desert, go the borders with Palestine, Syria, Egypt, Israel and Saudi Arabia, learn more about Arab culture in the capital and the north. Without a doubt one of the most beautiful places I have ever been! 😃
