Twincity Marathon 2025 - 21km Half Marathon

Oct 2024 - 2:44:18
Jan 2025 - 2:28:36

Alhamdulillah, kicked off 2025 with a bang and new PB! My 2nd Half Marathon ever with only 2 weeks of training after 2 months of recovery, so proud to run a sub-2:30.

Route yang mencabar, hilly from start to finish haha. But overall, such a fun and rewarding experience. Baju finisher lawa, medal pun lawa. Twincity Marathon never disappoints! 🏅

Congrats to all the runners! Here’s to the next event 💯 taken in Persiaran Flora, Cyberjaya by @fad_afnan

Garmin Run 2024 & Aisya’s Preschool Graduation

Finally dapat join one of the most anticipated events in Malaysia: Garmin Run Asia Series 2024. Unfortunately my slowest time in 10km (01:16:58) this year sebab injured di KM7. Route dah sedap but no luck. Tapi takde hal, we move. Now time to rest 🙏🏼

Also, congratulations to my beautiful daughter for her preschool graduation day. Papa is so proud of you. Hope one day you’ll look back and read this. This is only the beginning of your amazing journey. Mama & Papa love you so much 🤍 by @fad_afnan

My first ever Half Marathon ✅

Alhamdulillah. Dulu tak sangka pun boleh lari sejauh 21km ni, and today I did it. Hopefully this is just the beginning. My time wasn’t great but boleh lahhh, first time kan. Kasi can lah haha.

A huge thanks to PETRONAS for organizing such an incredible event. Merchandise banyak, medal cantik, route yang mencabar, plus the heavy rain. Overall, unique and challenging experience. See you all next year! 🏃🏻‍♂️🔥 by @fad_afnan

Kuala Lumpur Standard Chartered Marathon 2024 ✅

My second KLSCM participation. Gagal untuk PB since I pushed too hard early in the first 5km and eventually burned out.

Probably my last 10km race, time to upgrade and move to Half Marathon next. Thanks @zizang for the motivation! Tercapai impian nak lari dengan kau haha 🏃🏻‍♂️🔥 by @fad_afnan

SCORE Marathon 2024 ✅

Larian 10km ketujuh tahun 2024. Alhamdulillah berjaya break my own PB: 1:04:16. Sikit lagi nak sub 1-hour 🙏🏼

Route kali ni kejam betui, hills everywhere. But great experience nonetheless. On to the next event. 💯 by @fad_afnan

For the gram.

Masih belum move on. Managed to beat my PB by 2 minutes but still long way to before hitting sub-1 hour mark. On to the next 💪🏼

One for the gram. Longest distance in 2024 so far; 12km in Cyberjaya. Nampak happy tapi sebenarnya tidak, was struggling with pain sebab injured di KM3, went through hell to finish the race. But never give up, never surrender orang cakap haha.

Proud of myself sebab berani challenge diri sendiri to go outside my comfort zone. Need to recover then focus on next month’s event.

Larian terakhir sebelum Ramadhan. Different kind of experience lari di Bukit Tunku with its crazy elevations. Memang menguji mental dan fizikal. Overall, great run with new PB. Also proud of my brother, berjaya habiskan 10km pertamanya.

Akhir kata, selamat menunaikan ibadah puasa kepada semua. Salam Ramadhan Kareem!
