Today, as we celebrate 5 years of YPNOTIKA, we want to honor the people who are at the heart of this journey — the Founder and the Residents.

YPNOTIKA has never been just a project. It’s a shared vision, built through trust, passion and deep connection. Without their dedication and belief, YPNOTIKA wouldn’t be what it is today.

Founded by @ag44___ the creative visionary and programmer of YPNOTIKA, the project has grown through unwavering passion, dedication and a unique vision brought to life, shaped and carried forward together with the artists who define its identity.

@fadar.__ has been essential in shaping the YPNOTIKA concept from early on, channeling his passion and embracing our vision through performances locally and abroad.

@__ar.gie__ has played a key role in shaping the project’s identity, helping establish a consistent sonic direction and artistic vision while delivering memorable sets.

@denise_rabe came into our path through an instant connection. Her first appearance with us at Radion in 2024 marked the beginning of her residency. Since then, she has been part of this journey across The Netherlands, Spain and this May in Greece as our story continues to evolve.

With @asecmusic the connection was immediate and genuine. His humble spirit and powerful sound signature have made every one of his live performances at YPNOTIKA truly special and unforgettable.

And now, we welcome @veragraceb as our newest resident. From the moment we connected, her energy, sensitivity and deep artistic vision resonated with the essence of YPNOTIKA. She represents a new chapter for us and we are proud to have her growing with us.

We’re proud to celebrate this 5-year milestone together with five artists who represent the soul, present and future of YPNOTIKA.

This year will be a busy one as we continue shaking dancefloors in two of our favorite cities, Amsterdam and Thessaloniki, while also focusing on educational masterclasses that support culture and music production - essential for dancefloors to exist and grow.

Love,
YPNOTIKA by @fadar.__

Feeling excited about 2026🥂

After a long period of balancing different responsibilities, it feels good to have a bit more mental space and time again to make music. Last two months have been very productive and I feel more inspired by the day.

An EP together with Ignota just came out on Territoria Records, with more to come. An album is finished and ready for release, a VA on @_ypnotika_ came out late 2025, and there’s another VA coming up as well. On top of that, I’m working through a lot of new material that’s slowly taking shape.

I’m also into building a live set for a special project, exploring how this music translates beyond the studio. Hoping to be able to showcase that soon.

Moving forward with intention, step by step. Looking forward to what’s next. 🖖

FADAR X IGNOTA - APPROACH

Very excited to share our new EP Approach.
The perfect way to kick off 2026.
Out now on Territoria Records.

TERRITORIA RECORDS

Recorded in 2023 during an improvised live jam session at my studio in Volkshotel, this EP documents a raw dialogue between machines and intuition. Working together with FADAR we allowed ideas to unfold in real time - no rigid templates, only instinct, texture, and tension guiding the process.

The result is a set of tracks that feel unpolished in the best sense: eerie atmospheres, distorted Lyra synth movements, and abstract rhythmic structures that evolve rather than resolve. Nothing here is ornamental; every sound serves the energy of the moment.

There is a sense of unpredictability throughout, as if the tracks are continuously discovering themselves while they play. The EP captures that fragile space between control and chaos, where improvisation becomes architecture.

---

We release our music on a name-your-price basis because we trust the listener. These sounds are created with intention, and we believe value should be defined by the person experiencing them. Pay what feels right — your support keeps the music alive. by @fadar.__
