The American people united must do everything in our power to prevent war in Iran. Trump is overtly attempting to further destabilize the middle east, aiding Israel’s colonial conquest for power and territory, and racking in billions for war profiteers. His blatant lies about nuclear weapons and a supposed “ceasefire” that Iran never agreed to demonstrate in full this administration’s deceitful nature. Even more, Trump is actively trying to usurp congress’ authority on matters of war. We need a passionate anti-war movement, now! Get organized! by @fading.prints

Let it be known that the United States cannot afford single-payer healthcare. Let it be known that we cannot afford accessible education, equitable housing, or food security. Let it be known, however, that the United States can certainly afford a dictatorial military spectacle. We can afford mass deportations, weapons for Israel’s genocide, and of course, war with Iran. Most of all, we can afford to suck up to corporate special interest. After all, solving the nation’s problems and meeting the people’s demands is a price we simply cannot pay. Despicable. by @fading.prints

Trump’s military parade sparked defiance from activists all across the country— including the nation’s capitol. As this administration continues to rule by force and fear, militarizing the streets of Los Angeles and waging illegal acts of war in Iran, it’s important to remember that WE THE PEOPLE have the power to resist. While Trump’s fascism boils over the white house’s tea kettle, burning our communities alive, people are organizing around the clock to wage the fight against authoritarianism— join them. by @fading.prints

Last Saturday, June 7th, Federal ICE agents raided Los Angeles, California, targeting immigrant workers in a new wave of Fascistic violence waged by the Trump administration. Amidst this state violence, labor leader David Huerta was shoved to the ground and detained by America’s ICE gestapo.

Following a wave of protests across the country demanding the labor leader’s immediate release, Huerta was released June 9th.

Depicted here is the Metropolitan DC AFL-CIO labor council in coalition with leaders and presidents of other trade unions like the National Education Association, SEIU, AFSCME, and others demanding the release of David Huerta outside the department of Justice.

I believe the following popular poetic platitude is suitable for the current moment. We must stand together and fight— the future depends on it.

“First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out-
Because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the TRADE UNIONISTS, and I did not speak out,
Because I was not a TRADE UNIONIST.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out,
Because I was not a Jew.

And then they came for me— and there was no one left to speak for me.”

As part of the April 5th National People’s Veto day held in opposition to the current fascist regime, St. Augustine’s residents SHOWED OUT, and they did it LOUD! The historic downtown fort was covered with demonstrators unified by a collective opposition to the budget cuts, civil rights violations, and fascistic policy emanating from the white house. Until next time! by @fading.prints
