With London Pride and London Trans+ Pride happening this past week, it marks the end of pride month. Pride started as a protest, a protest that was meant to defy the patriarchal, heteronormative, and white supremacist system made to surpress the lives of many people. With the end of Pride Month there is an urgent need to maintain this protest, all throughout the year, to uphold the lives of our many siblings that were lost, and to pave the way for the many people that will come after us. With Pride comes a responsibility to remember and preserve our history and the places that have allowed our community to thrive.

Remember to always be prideful all year round.
