Sunday Spredges 💚🍃 QOTD: What’s your birthstone and do you have a book that matches it? ✨ ⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡ I’ve been absolutely loving seeing everyone’s Peridot stacks lately! 💚 As a Virgo, Peridot is my birthstone, so naturally I had to get involved with today’s green-edged theme! The only light green sprayed edge I could find was Hopeless Necromantic, so rather than forcing it, I decided to embrace the general green aesthetic instead! 😂🍃 I’m actually a big fan of matching books to little pieces of personality like this - birthstones, zodiac signs, colours, flowers… basically any excuse to find a book that fits a theme. ♍️✨ And being a Virgo, I feel like green is quite fitting anyway. Earth sign, organised, slightly obsessive about details… and apparently incapable of looking at a pretty sprayed edge without immediately needing to photograph it. 😂 What’s your star sign and birthstone? And do you have a book that matches yours? 💚 ⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡ Books Featured 💚The Unicorn Hunters by Katherine Arden | Fairyloot 💚Hopeless Necromantic by Shiloh Briar | Lilac Library 💚A Dance of Lies by Brittney Arena | Fairyloot 💚The Lure of Wolves & Whispers by Amanda Connolly | Fairyloot 💚 Thorns & Fire by Helen Scheuerer | Fairyloot ⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡ #Bookstagram #SprayedEdges #FantasyBooks #BookPhotography #BookLovers by @fae_evermore

🦄✨The Unicorn Hunters by Katherine Arden | Fairyloot Edition ✨ QOTD: If you could re-live a childhood holiday, where would you go? ⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡♡✧˖° It may come as no surprise that many of my childhood holidays were spent travelling around Scotland, exploring ancient castles and wandering through their sprawling grounds. I didn’t actually leave the UK until I was 23! Out of all those adventures though, I’d love to visit the Isle of Iona again. It’s Scotland at its most magical. Windswept beaches, ancient ruins, Celtic crosses, beautiful stone architecture, and so much history woven into every corner. I must have only been five or six, but I still remember coming home with a silver unicorn necklace on one of those iconic ‘90s black cord necklaces, which is no doubt gathering dust in my parents attic! The FairyLoot edition of The Unicorn Hunters by Katherine Arden instantly transported me back to those memories. The artwork feels steeped in folklore and history, and honestly... I wish I could frame every piece and hang it on my walls. It’s the kind of edition that feels like pure nostalgia wrapped up in a book. 🦄✨💫 Add to your TBR if you love: 👑 Reluctant queen / young ruler ⚔️ Political intrigue 🌲 Enchanted forest 💍 Secret betrothal / secret marriage ✨ Historical fantasy 🏰 Medieval setting ❤️ Romantic subplot ⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡♡✧˖° #FairyLoot #TheUnicornHunters #KatherineArden #BookstagramUK #FantasyBooks by @fae_evermore

🌸Pastel Sprayed Edge Sunday Q: What cosy or bookish things did you get up to this weekend? 💕 ⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡ I was a very lazy bookish bum this weekend and spent most of it reading in bed covered in doggos 😆 I’ve also been playing 🧚🏻‍♀️Fae Farm on the Switch which I have become super addicted to!! Such a cute little magical farming sim! 💕 I did venture out on Saturday afternoon with the hubby & Winnie for a walk in the countryside tho - we even grabbed a tasty scone and PSL afterwards to refuel 🧡🐾 ⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡ Books from left to right: 🧡 Bodies of Magic 🍁 The Rose Bargain 🧡 The Thorn Queen 🍁 The Last Starborn Seer 🧡 The Wicked Sea ⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡ #sprayededges #spredges #bookgirlie #bookstagramitalia #specialeditionbooks by @fae_evermore

The Rose Bargain & The Thorn Queen by @sashapeytonsmith 🌹👑 | Fairyloot Edition Q: What’s your fave duology? 💕 ⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡ 🌹It’s finally here!! I’ve been waiting for my Thorn Queen Fairyloot edition for what feels like an eternity 😆 because I have been absolutely desperate to find out what happens in this book!! The Rose Bargain ended on a pretty big cliffhanger 🫣 so I neeeed to know what is going to happen between Ivy, Emmett and King Bram!! 💔 🌹Wed to one brother In love with the other 🌹 I really love the dark, period whimsy of this story. It feels like a gorgeous mixture of Bridgerton and The Cruel Prince! 💕 PLUS - the character art on both these books is unbelievable! 😍 One of my favourite styles of illustration for sure! If you’ve read either of these I’d love to hear your thoughts!! Just don’t spoil the ending for me 😆🌹💕 ⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡ #thethornqueen #sashapeytonsmith #therosebargain #fairyloot #bookstagrammer by @fae_evermore

Tallow & Bone by @rhiannonhargadon | A Salem Witch Trials Retelling | ARC 🖤 Q: What was the last book that made you weep? Like ugly cry, sob your eyes out? 😭💔 ⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ I am an absolute wreck right now. 😭 This is the most I have ever cried while reading a book, and my ridiculous tear count is a testament to Rhiannon’s incredible writing. The characters felt so real that I genuinely felt more like a fly on the wall, watching these horrors unfold in front of me, rather than someone simply reading words on a page. I was completely immersed in this story from beginning to end. Amity is one of the most stubborn, fiercely loving FMCs I’ve met in a while. Just being a woman during this time period is bad enough, especially with the paranoia & superstition surrounding anyone who dares to have more than a few brain cells to rub together, never mind the fact that Amity is actually a witch. 😭 Salem, in all its cursed & bleak glory, is the perfect backdrop for this dark love triangle, & it filled me with such a constant sense of tense dread. The fear surrounding witchcraft has completely taken over the town, making paranoia absolutely rife. You can’t trust anyone, or anything they tell you, & I was on the edge of my seat the whole time! And yet, amongst the fear, grief & innocent executions, there is the most passionate, messy & heartbreaking love story that had me sobbing into the pages. George - I love him SM! A cookie-baking gentleman in the streets and an absolute freak in the sheets. 😏😆 And then there is the mysterious masked witch, wearing that haunting wooden mask with antlers. 👀 The uncertainty only added to my growing sense of unease. It could be any number of men, & with so many people in the town who mean Amity harm, can she really trust any of them? This is such a tragic, atmospheric story, filled with passionate love, complicated family dynamics, grief, injustice & some of the SPICIEST scenes. 🥵 But now that it’s over, I genuinely feel a little lost. I wasn’t prepared for how much this story would get under my skin, and I am absolutely not okay. 😭 Rhiannon... WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME?! 🖤🥲✨ by @fae_evermore

🎉The COVER REVEAL for Monstrous Beasts - the second book in ‘The Seamere College Duology,’ IS OFFICIALLY HERE! 🐾 Monstrous Beasts by @keshewrites the sequel to Strange Familiars 💕 Oh my goodness you guys - this cover is amazing! A HUGE congratulations to @keshewrites on the second book, and for this incredible cover! 😍 This beautiful cover was created by the amazingly talented @golightlyfinch, with art direction by Katie Anderson! 🎨 🐾Monstrous Beasts is available for preorder NOW! Book 1 - Strange Familiars ended on such a big cliffhanger that I am absolutely beside myself to find out what happens to Harrisford and Gwen!! ❤️‍🔥 *I used Photoshop to edit book cover into my photo - physical copy not available yet 💕 ⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡ Separated by a heroic act of sacrifice, a magical veterinarian must save both her heart and the world in the final installment of the Seamere College duology. Gwendolynne Chan never thought she’d end up like this. As the top graduate of her Magical Veterinary Sciences degree, she should have landed a cushy role that would’ve set her up for life. Instead, she’s a low-level drudge in the animal breeding facility at Magecorp, the world’s largest global distributor of magic. Why? Because the man she loves got stuck in the Void, having nobly sacrificed himself to save her. Now he needs rescuing, and Magecorp is Gwen’s key to doing so. Even if it means keeping her head down, putting up with her crappy job . . . and maybe, just maybe, committing some corporate espionage. Harrisford Briggs did it for love. But upon reentry to the real world, he realizes that his time in the Void may have done him irreparable damage. Not only to his body, but to his relationship with Gwen. And worse, he’s running out of time in his quest to heal both. When damage from the deadly Void magic breaks containment, infecting both pets and humans, Gwen and Harrisford must work together to stop its spread. With the help of their friends and a motley crew of animal familiars, they’ll have to figure out a cure—and take down Magecorp for good. ⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡ #seamerecollege #strangefamilliars #monstrousbeasts #keshechow #coverreveal by @fae_evermore

Fated to The Demon Lord by @jacurtisbooks + GIVEAWAY 🎁 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ QOTD: If you found yourself captured by a war camp full of demons, how would you escape? Slip some poison into their soup or try to fight your way out? 👀 ⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡ Thank you so much to @MTMCTours and @jacurtisbooks for having me on the tour and for providing me with a copy of this fantastic book to read! 💕 WOW! This was the Beauty & the Beast retelling I didn’t know I needed in my life! As I flicked through the first few pages, I immediately thought, this is not going to be like any other retelling I’ve ever read! 👏 The writing was incredible, but what really stood out to me was the amazing array of characters and personalities throughout the story. From our FMC Denara, a tenacious sister determined to look out for her brother after their mother left, to Lord Vaelor, a demon GHOST who may be morally grey but has a soft spot for helping humans. And then there are some truly terrifying demons, trolls and beasts who will stop at nothing to gain power. 👀 If you’re looking for something completely different to add to your romantasy obsession, then look no further! All I will say is... Vaelor can possess Denara (with her consent, of course) 👀😮‍💨❤️‍🔥 I’ll just leave that little bit of information here and let your imagination fill in the rest. 😆 ⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡ INTL TOUR-WIDE GIVEAWAY: One lucky reader will win a $20USD Amazon Gift Card! 🌲🩸The Gravewood by Kelly Andrew | Fairyloot Edition ⁣ Would you risk the Gravewood Forest? 🫣 QOTD: If supplies were running low and venturing into the forest was your only option, would you risk the rot... or stay put and hope you could survive without them? ⁣⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡⁣ ⁣ It’s Hoa Hoa Hoa season, which means it’s officially time to get the vampire books out! 😆 I was a major Twilight fangirl back in the day, so anything that gives me those vibes and I’m immediately there! Shea Parker has lived her entire life in the shadow of the Gravewood, a deadly forest that has cut her town off from the outside world. With resources running low, she’s forced to ration her hearing aid batteries, and when her stash runs out, she’ll be left in complete silence. That alone is such a terrifying premise, and I’m already visioning this as a movie in my head! 🫣 I also love that there’s some disability representation here. I genuinely feel like this is the first book I’ve picked up this year where I can say that too! 👏🏻 I’m feeling really nervous already to find out how Shea is going to navigate this situation because being left in silence with monsters surrounding you on all sides sounds like a literal nightmare! 😭 ⁣ ⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡♡✧˖°⋆˙⟡⁣ #thegravewood #kellyandrew #fairyloot #vampirebooks #yabooks by @fae_evermore
