Sweets and Sycamores – 4 🌟

All Alecsandra wants is to be accepted and have a home with her late mother's coven, the Silverbacks. But she's come into her power late in life and she's struggling to control it. No one in the coven is willing to help her learn and fear her uncontrolled element is a danger. The determination is made that she'll be given until Hallows Eve to learn control over her power or be removed from the coven permanently. But she can no longer practice at the manor.

I'll never get tired of grumpy x sunshine. I loved the unexpected contradiction of the bakery being owned by the grumpy man who hardly smiles, but takes pride in all of the sweet things he bakes and makes by hand.

This was low on the spice scale, but high on the burn! 🔥 Dom and Allie simmered throughout the whole book! Every time I thought they were going to admit to their feelings or kiss someone interrupted them. And it was usually Brandon!

The relationship between Brandon and Dom was great! If there's one thing I absolutely love, it's a good bromance. I enjoyed the dynamics of their relationship, Dom being the grumpy one and Brandon being happy go-lucky and constantly pushing his buttons.

"Ah, that's why you want pumpkins now," Brandon mused. "You're smitten."
"You're ugly."
"Is this how you talk to your pumpkin provider?"
😂🤣

Ekko was absolutely necessary to the story! What a perfect addition! The baby dragon was too cute. I loved how he was protective of Allie and would blow smoke at people. Too cute when he ignored Allie, pretending to be asleep because he didn't want to do what she told him to. 😆

This was a cozy and cute, autumn read. 🍂

❔️Would you leave your mother's coven and her legacy for a new town and the man you love?

October Reading Wrap! 📚

A better month then my last couple. How? I have no idea! I'm still hoping to get through some of the autumn reads on my TBR this month, but regardless, I'm happy I got a few more reads in than I have been! 📖

Here's to hoping November is just as productive a reading month, if not more, for me! 🤞🏻

❔️What's something you're hoping to read this month?

Shelfie Sunday 📚

My shelves have no more room, books are everywhere, my library is a mess!

But I've finally got new bookshelves! 👏🏻

One is together, waiting patiently for its partner to join it and I'm so excited to get them organized. 😍 I don't know what the plan is yet, but soon there will be no books on the floor!

For a month or two at least. 😏

I was so excited for this book mail! This book is absolutely gorgeous! And this bracelet! 😍

Thank you to @maidenmotherandcroneltd for this wonderful giveaway win! 🥰

Side note: I don't know what is going on with my camera. Every video I record it doesn't this stupid glitching jump. No matter what I do I can't seem to get rid of it or find the cause. 😭

📚RAISIN BRAN’S BOOK BRUNCH 📚
📖🕸October Book Club Read🕸📖

The Corvus Order is dedicated in their mission to train young girls to become slayers, wiping the earth of the vampires that walk amongst people. Ariya is finally chosen for her first solo mission: marriage to a nobleman, Dante D'Agonisto, that is rumored to be a vampire hiding in plain sight. She is determined to show her worth and slay the blood sucker as she has been trained to do. But as she gets closer to him, she finds herself questioning her knowledge of vampires and all her training from the Order.

A Betrothal So Bloody was our first book club read and it couldn't have been a better book to start with! I was a little hesitant as I didn't think I was going to like it. This would not have been a book I would have reached for on my own and I am so glad it was the one we all chose. I absolutely loved it!

The banter was top-notch! I was living for the fire between Ariya and Dante! 🔥 I absolutely love a snarky, stabby FMC and Ariya is undoubtedly that. Dante gives us the quick-witted banter right back, but he's not mean about it.

The authors kept me wanting more, flipping pages, and unable to guess what was going to happen. The fight scenes were depicted perfectly. The writing throughout was great.

I absolutely love Dante and can't wait for the second book! 😍
