I don’t think I’ve done enough of this.

I’ve spent a lot of time sharing the finished songs and performances, but not enough of everything that happens in between.

The reality is, most of the time it’s just me. Writing. Recording. Filming. Driving around looking for locations. Chasing ideas and hoping they become songs people connect with.

Maybe that’s what Raw Voice has always been.

Still reflecting on Saturday.

Leeds Playhouse marked the first live performance of Raw Voice, a project that’s been years in the making.

After exploring different musical directions and spending time developing a clearer artistic vision, it felt incredibly rewarding to stand on stage performing music that feels authentic to who I am today 🙏🏽
