At @steelcase, Charlotte Romano ’27 spent her summer exploring how design, storytelling, and communication come together. 🏢🦌

Through her internship, Charlotte gained hands-on experience in space planning, material selection, and interior aesthetics while presenting design concepts to clients and key stakeholders. She also collaborated with fellow interns to gather feedback and increase awareness of Steelcase’s B2B e-commerce platform.

The experience helped Charlotte strengthen skills she’ll carry into her studies as a marketing major at #FairfieldDolan—from understanding audiences and presenting ideas to using storytelling to create meaningful connections.

From the ballpark to the classroom, Jillian Koppy ’28 is bringing her experience back to #FairfieldDolan after a summer as a Social Media intern in the @officialccbl ⚾️

A marketing major, Jillian spent the summer working with the @falcommodores on their social media content, gaining hands-on experience in sports marketing, content creation, and fan engagement. From creating graphics and brainstorming content to capturing game-day moments, Jillian experienced the many sides of sports marketing.

Katherine M. Jakubowsky ’27, a marketing and graphic design student at #FairfieldU, spent the summer as a marketing Intern with @JMcLaughlin, gaining hands-on experience across digital marketing, e-commerce, and graphic design.

Working with the Email/SMS Marketing and E-Commerce teams, Katherine contributed to projects ranging from email marketing and social media concepts to a nationwide storefront illustration initiative. She also collaborated with fellow interns to develop concepts and marketing strategies for the Summer 2028 collection, which the team presented to company executives.

Matthew N. Papillo ’00 left a lasting impact on both Fairfield and the wealth management industry. In his memory, Arax Investment Partners and Fairfield University have established the Matthew Papillo Wealth Management Internship Program.

The program honors his legacy of mentorship and leadership while providing Fairfield students with meaningful, hands-on experience in wealth management and opportunities to grow as young professionals.
