Well, it's finally here. First album 3 years in the making...

✣.•* ✼ *˚ Nastic Appeal ✣.•* ✼ *˚

This is deffs an existential depression core album (lol)- the outcome of my younger self working through heavier feelings of rage, fear, depression, power struggles, low self worth, and just aaaaangst. In hindsight I was translating those emotions to be understood and held and I hope you can feel connected to that. Feels vulnerable af, but that's what music can do for us. I really hope these songs bring something valuable to your day.

It's really fking weird promoting music right now for obvious reasons but I want to thank everyone sincerely for your love and support over the years ♥ I'm very privileged to get to do what I love and express myself like this and it's never taken for granted. Acknowledging with respect the Wurundjeri and Bunurong people who are the Traditional Owners of the land I made this album on.

Releasing with the most gorgeous bunch of poetic softies @provenance.collective. Big shout outs to verrrrry talented cuties @cell_music_ and @evandijk_ for shredding on their guitars on the last track!!! Mastered by the sonic princess herself @aphir_

Can't believe it teenage me is screaming wooooooo thank you thank you thank you!!!! 𓆣 by @fairie

3rd and final single from my upcoming album is in the world today- the song is called "Ode" link in bio 🌜🪷🌛

This is a special song, the first one I made for this 3 years ago. We've come a long way since then, but it's worth honouring.

This is a song about all the strong Asian femmes breaking down historically harmful stereotypes about who we are- both in the public eye and for ourselves. We are expansive, unfixed, diverse, expressive, and amazing.

Not gonna lie releasing music at this point in time given the escalating genocide in Palestine and the grief of so many is conflicting and weird. But I hope this song is a motivator in your day to keep challenging the structures that try to control people for profit and power. I hope it brings some charging energy for you to keep being the best version of yourself for the world, whoever you are. Love is power.

I feel so grateful to get to create music on Wurundjeri country with acknowledgement that sovereignty of this land's First Peoples was never ceded.

Thanks to @aphir_ for elevating everything with her magic mastering ears.

And as always thanks for listening!

With love in my heart, it feels surreal to say "Changes" from my upcoming LP Nastic Appeal is in the universe! An incredible feeling as this album has been 3 years in the making.

Changes is 1/3 singles to come, followed by the full album. Making this was an immersive deep dive so I hope it brings you into that world with me 🧊

Huge thank you to @aphir_ for being the highest quality mastering engineer anyone could ask for. A sonic wizard who I couldn't recommend highly enough.

Deeply grateful to be releasing with @provenance.collective, it's been joyful to share and feel a sense of belonging with this collective. Thanks to all who have supported me, and shoutout to my Mum's fave silk scarf which features in this artwork. May beauty, zest, and magic be with you always 🦋

Thanks for listening and I'm so excited to show you what's to come.

While the night air chills and the days become longer, we muse over our cosy night at @suitesevena for Slow Burn. Cookies and candles in array, we welcomed artists @sin____a_ , @fairie and @scariestgirlintheworld for their distinguished live sound. Eyes linger softly as they siren to your spirit, noise building, rubbing cheek to cheek…

Thank you everyone
