WARNING⚠️ LONG JOURNAL SESSION AHEAD ♥

This year has been tumultuous (special thanks to FG & ASUU). And the thing about going through a lot is, everyone is going through it too. Reaching out to people was really hard because everyone had their own sh*t to deal with and I didn't have the capacity to be the therapist friend, so I ghosted. On everyone. I didn't answer calls, I didn't reply messages, I just disappeared. Selfish, I know. But I learnt recently that you can't pour from an empty cup, no matter how badly you want to.

I was stuck in a rut, I could feel myself running mad so I took tailoring classes just to leave the house. It made me feel better, until I realized my birthday was coming and I was turning 21. I hadn't achieved anything significant to commemorate such a 'big' age, pwooosh, depreshun. So I decided to make a birthday dress for myself. It ended up being so beautiful that I decided that I'd go for a shoot. And like that, everything fell in place.

When the pictures went out yesterday, the love I received was massive. I received loads of compliments on the pictures, I realized that I missed being reminded how pretty I am. However, the compliments on my dress were my favourite. I feel like a bad b*tch rn, like a spicy mix between Naomi Campbell and Poison Ivy.

So, this is 21. It feels pretty chill so far. Thank you for sticking with me till the end. I love you ❤️

I want to make this dress again but for two pretty girls only (swipe to the 3rd slide for a full picture of the dress) send me a DM if you want it ❤️
