We made a little history this weekend. ⚽🌎

Together with our incredible @fairtradela community and the wonderful @watchme_sportsbar , we hosted the first-ever Fair Fan Zone at California’s first women’s sports bar; bringing together football, fair trade, families, and local businesses to celebrate the beautiful game.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, cheered, created, volunteered, and made this unforgettable.

Here’s to the first of many. 💚

Thank you to @sendaathletics and @fairtradecertified for sponsoring our event and tirelessly working to empower farmers and makers around the world. 🌎 #fairtrade #quarterfinals #fanzone taken in Watch Me Sports Bar by @fairtradela

🌍 What does the future of fair trade look like?

Is fair trade for everyone? Is it about better prices, or something much bigger? And how do we make sure trade serves people, not the other way around?

To kick off Season 9 of FAIR Talks, we’re bringing together three leaders from across the fair trade movement to explore these questions and more.

🎙️ Amanda Archila | Fairtrade America
🎙️ Jette Ladiges | World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO)
🎙️ Sugumar Raman | Fair Trade USA

Together, we discuss how the movement can grow without compromising its values, why producer power matters, and what needs to change to build a fairer future.

🎧 Episode 55: The Future of Fair Trade: Where Does the Movement Go From Here?

Now Fair Trade is coming to the football pitch.

Join us for the World’s First Fair Fan Zone and Quarterfinal Watch Party where Fair Trade meets football.

🌍 Fair Trade LA goes global!

Last weekend, Fair Trade LA was represented in Belgium alongside our friends at @oasisbelgium for the 2026 International Fair Trade Towns Conference!

Under the theme “Local Change for a Global Future,” fair trade advocates from around the world came together to exchange ideas, share experiences, and strengthen the global movement.

🎙️ Our representatives, Phil and Jutatip, also spent time gathering stories and perspectives from changemakers across the movement, which we’re excited to share with you through the FAIR Talks podcast!

Because fair trade is more than a label. It’s a global movement built on people, partnerships, and the belief that together, we can create a fairer world.

💙 From Belgium to Los Angeles, we’re proud to be part of it! by @fairtradela

One of my favorite moments from the day. Watching our Fair Football Club shirts being screen printed by @hnrcrew on @goexapparel shirts then looking over to see kids simply playing football. ❤️⚽ It was a reminder of what the World’s First Fair Fan Zone was all about: bringing people together through the beautiful game and showing how fair trade can be part of it. by @fairtradela

Proof that our courtyard turns into its own little universe. ✨

Local brands. Good food. Great people. Sports on the big screen. Vibes that somehow keep getting better.

Here’s a look back at the vendors who helped make the world’s first Fair Trade Fan Zone with @fairtradela one to remember.

We’ll have vendors pulling up again for our 2-Year Anniversary Party, and you should too.
