🚐 SEASON 4 BEGINS! | We Had NO IDEA Virginia Had THIS!
We’re back on the road for Season 4 of Fairview Roamstead! Our adventures begin in Front Royal, Virginia, at the annual Homesteaders of America Conference. From there, we head south to explore the breathtaking Natural Bridge State Park!
Join us as we hike the scenic Cedar Creek Trail, marvel at the massive 215-foot Natural Bridge, and make our way to the beautiful Lace Falls waterfall.
It’s the perfect start to another season of full-time RV living, family adventures, and exploring America!

Lovely day to paint outside but when we clean up someone wanted to wear their socks for his sister’s wedding and we said no. That is how you make a 3 year old mad. 😆😆. Time for a coffee, need to put a splash of something in it 😉

🚐💩 Our RV Black Tank Was FULL… So I Pumped It 150 Feet Uphill!
After two weeks on our home RV pad, our black tank was full, and we still had another week before hitting the road! Rather than paying over $200 for a pump-out, I decided to put our Flojet macerator to the test with 150 feet of garden hose running uphill to our home septic system! 😳
Did it work? You bet it did! 💪 Check out our latest Fairview Roamstead video to see how it all went!

Water Canyon Recreation Area, Winnemucca, NV. BLM land that is more like a no frills campground. They had picnic tables, grills and views for days. You could frisbee golf or take a hike. Roads were very nicely maintained, even found a dumpster(bonus points), and big rig friendly. #blmboondocking #rvlife #homesteadtoroamstead #winnemuccanevada

Golden Spike National Park did not disappoint. You got to see the area where the final spike that connected the railways (real spike is at Stanford Univ.). The museum gave us a great idea of life for the workers, a nice 20 min movie (perfect for the small kiddos), looking at the trains and then watching them leave for the day. The Ranger, Kristy was awesome, she spoke of the time and when the ceremony took place. We were able to go on the Auto tour as well, that was insane how hard it looked for the workers. Great place for a stamp in your passport and Junior Ranger badge. #rvlifewithkids #outdoorhomeschool #goldenspikenationalhistoricsite #trains #Utah

Build a Bear (Regan’s belated bday present) and Hogel Zoo! Great day to be out and about. The zoo is so nicely put together, they are working on it so it will be even bigger the next time we come. Highly recommend. They are perfect for walking, scooters, wheelchairs, anything that needs accessibility, they have it. The workers are wicked friendly and helpful.

Staying at HIll AFB in Utah, so much to see and do. Stop 1: Smith and Edward’s Surplus which had so much fun stuff to buy. Stop 2: Antelope Island State Park, the Salt Lake is crazy bare. The visitors center closed right when we got there (private party), so we drove around and saw the campsites (lots), picnic tables, and then my favorite the bison! 🚐 A New Video Is Up! 🎥
Everyone told us installing SnapPads was easy… just lower the leveling jacks and they pop right on. Well, apparently our RV didn’t get that memo! 😂💪
In this week’s video, we travel through Pennsylvania and into New York to Thousand Trails Rondout Valley, where we decide to install the new SnapPads we picked up at the Hershey RV Show. What should have been a quick RV upgrade turned into a bit of a battle—but with some determination and a little brute strength, we finally got them ALL on!
Then our plans changed. Instead of heading to our final campground, we decided it was time to head straight home. After one last challenge getting our big fifth wheel positioned on our RV pad, we officially wrapped up this season of our travels. ❤️
We’ll be spending the next few weeks enjoying time with family and friends before a whole new season of adventures begins!

🍂 Fall camping is our FAVORITE! 🍁🏕️

There’s just something special about being on the road this time of year—the crisp mornings, cool evenings, colorful leaves, campfires, and that unmistakable feeling that fall is finally here. 🍂🔥

For us, fall is hands-down our favorite season for camping and traveling. The temperatures are cooler, the scenery is beautiful, and every travel day seems to bring a whole new view as the colors change around us.

Right now, we’re soaking up fall in Colorado at Thousand Trails Blue Mesa, and it’s a pretty great place to enjoy one of our favorite times of the year! ❤️🍁
