Our next open decks returns with E-MOSH in our room 2/theme room, this time hosted by babybear and BB BIXX!

If you’ve come to Pull Up before then you’ll have no doubt seen @weebabybear and @abi.ke either shelling it behind the decks or scribbling away in the crafts corner, or both! Beyond their unwavering dedication to the open decks, the two have also been a mighty presence in our beginner DJ course.

As such they’ve invited two recent graduates of the course @fairytale.breaks and @moetfukada to guide us through all things emosh – from hardcore to hyper pop, jungle to Japanese music.

Joining them on this voyage is one half of VL++ – @das_ist_vas_ The other half, @lewisleafs played at our last emosh, and together they also run the night @kinesis_ldn . It only felt right to have babybear, BB BIXX and our recent beginners supported by a champion of local SE nightlife and certified EMOSHER.

Pull Up to @aajamusic and get all emotional in the event space alongside our usual open decks in the bar area on Thursday 8th October from 7-11pm

Lineup change! Unfortunately Lola can no longer join us (keep an eye out though - she’ll be back in the future!)!

Have no fear as the amazing @fairytale.breaks is joining us, fresh from their debut @aajamusic show and part of the @_pull_up_ldn crew, get ready for an unleashing of chaotic breaks and bounce.

As for the rest of us we remain the same!

@aakaara - LIVE (a debut for RDV), 303 heavy live acid techno

@mfceol of @start_parties - bringing jungle pressure and bass forward heat

@jv_jungle - multi genre silliness. Likely bouncy, maybe cheesy by @fairytale.breaks

a few 🫸 landscape🫷snaps that came out from Pull Up’s last grad night !! 🎓🎓🎓

we return TOMORROW @aajamusic from 9pm 📍

come down and support our wonderful graduate DJs and all the hard work they’ve been putting in for the last few months 💫

INTRODUCING the next three DJs from our Beginner DJ Course:

KING DANN, FAIRYTALE BREAKS & VIX 🎧

Over the last few months, the Pull Up team have been working hard to teach twelve aspiring DJs and music fans to use CDJs, mix together their favourite dance tunes and share the music they love.

As part of the Beginner DJ Course, each DJ gets a 30-minute radio set on our Pull Up Community Radio show on @aajamusic, as well as a “graduation” set at @aajamusic later this year.

Swipe to learn a little bit more about KING DANN, FAIRYTALE BREAKS & VIX, and tune in to hear their debut sets on AAJA Music from 5–7pm on Thursday 13th August, ahead of our monthly open decks! 💿

Expect amapiano and Afro house from KING DANN, a magical journey through jungle and hyperpop from FAIRYTALE BREAKS, and some fun UKG and house from VIX.
