The first time I heard Sajjad Bhai was on PTV’s Silver Jubilee, and the first time I saw him perform live was back in 1984.

From Babia to Cinderella to Ravi and so many more classics… what an incredible journey. An artist who has continued to inspire and, somehow, always stayed relevant—no matter the era or the decade.

In all these 40+ years, I think yesterday was the first time we actually got to sit together and spend almost two hours talking.

What an absolute pleasure it was. So many stories, so much to learn, and so much inspiration.

Sajjad Bhai, bohat mazaa aaya, thank you for your music 🙏🏽🕺🏽 taken in Lahore, Pakistan by @faisalkapadia
