Growing up in church, I would see folks praising God and it would appear they were being extra and sometime I would think to myself, "it don't take all that. "

At family dinners, my great - grandmother would bless the food and before you knew it she got happy and was speaking in tongues but BABY!!!! I get it now. When you look back over your life and think about just how good God is! MY God!! I'm thankful to know Him for myself.

The last few days I've been super reflective. I ended 2021 by burying my mother and began this year with burying my father. 2021 should've taken me out BUT I'M STILL HERE and in my right mind!

2022 was a year of self discovery, healing and restoration. Our God is in the business of restoration. When we partner with Him, we can trust that He will see to it that our lives are able to be renewed and set free from bondage.

I woke up this morning feeling blessed. I'm walking the bridge of gratitude on the last day of 2022 and into the new year.

I'm excited to see what 2023 has in store for us all. This year you planted seeds and God is going to reign many blessings over you. Harvest season is coming. Victory is all over you in Jesus name!

We have approximately 3 months before 2021 comes to an end. It has been a stressful year for us all but I declare you will finish the year strong!

May "the Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace." ~Numbers 6:24-26

I love having fresh flowers in the house. I love how they make a room smell, how they make me feel good and I love looking at them.

On Monday, I bought these stargazer lillies. Days passed and they still hadn't opened. I started to get irritated because I had to keep watering them but they wouldn't open. My mom said just relax, they will last longer. Just be patient!

This morning, I walked in the kitchen and these beauties are showing out!

Sometimes when we least expect it, God is teaching us patience. Thy will and not my will be done!Delayed does not mean denied. The delay, disappointments, betrayal, the No's, closed doors, etc. It's all watering you! When you least expect it, God will bless you. Just like my lillies, you will open and bloom.

Patience and faith to endure until the end will filter out situations and people that were not intended for your journey or purpose. The walk is NOT without injury but surrendering will position you to recognize and receive the higher order over your life.
