Vulnerability moment: I felt completely hopeless, purposeless and useless in the early months of postpartum

to the point where I was honestly scared to be home alone because my thoughts would spiral SO heavily

I got a notification from the Bible app one day for the verse of the day. It said:

“So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15‬:‭58‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“NOTHING you do for the Lord is EVER useless”

what felt like “just sitting around” was actually so purposeful.

‼️Even when some days the biggest accomplishments were:
- moving from the bed to the couch
-taking a shower
-nursing every 2 hours
-just allowing my body to rest
-watching endless episodes of Survivor

it all has purpose. nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless

postpartum can be a scary, ugly place for some of us.
And Jesus sees you there too 🫶

even when you don’t feel like you’re doing much, the TRUTH of scripture says otherwise. ❤️
