One of my all-time favorites. When I called him back his mother answered and it was hard to know who to ask for lol. Shout out to my assistant at Columbia Records Mike Webb for still being in the office at 9pm when the call came in 😊 by @faithnewman19

Came across these pictures today of my friend and former co-worker at Def Jam Records in the early days Dave “Funken” Klein. To know Dave was to know what a special person he was and how vast his knowledge of music was. The first picture is him and his beautiful girlfriend Lisa. Second one is Dave being silly at the Def Jam offices on 298 Elizabeth St. You’ve been gone over 30 years and are still missed. by @faithnewman19
