Today marks one year since I graduated from barber school, and coincidentally, it’s also the anniversary of my graduation from cosmetology school five years ago. This alignment reaffirms that I’m on the right path in my career.

The journey here has been anything but easy—it was filled with challenges, sacrifices, and moments where I had to put other priorities on hold. However, I am proud to have graduated both programs with honors and served as a PTK officer.

Over the past year, I’ve focused on refining my vision and solidifying my goals. Now, it’s time to take action for the new year. I’m excited to continue building relationships with my amazing clients and sharing my passion for this industry as a barber, cosmetologist and wigmaker.

I want to thank everyone that has been apart of this journey. Y’all have made it so much easier to go though. And I have to give the biggest thank you to God. Couldn’t do it without him. 🙏🏽Here’s to one year in the barber field and many more to come in cosmetology!

Congratulations to me💅🏽💕 I made it! And to my class for being the FIRST barber class to graduate from our school🥳🥳🥳 (Time to celebrate *finally*) 🍾enjoy some of my favorite moments from this year and throughout my journey in school😊🍾 #graduation #graduationday🎓 by @faithslayedit
