hostess with the mostest (a two bedroom apartment, 100° heat, and my family coming to visit me)

i haven’t written on here in a while, but life update!

moving halfway across the country is tiring, unfamiliar, and very lonely. you miss your family a lot, you spend a lot of time alone, you get used to the traffic and the change of weather, and sometimes you find yourself thinking about what comes next.

this is all to say that i don’t know where i’ll end up, but i’m grateful that i’ve put myself in a position to experience new things while i am young, that i have family willing to travel to me, a friend to make the move smoother, and a job that i love 🌲🤍

just because it’s uncomfortable doesn’t mean it’s wrong—it means you’re growing! taken in Colorado by @faithyyoder
