POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Born and raised son of the Wasatch Valley, Austin Archer has been writing and recording music for over 20 years with various projects including the folk-rock duo Us Thieves, The synth-pop duo BOSS TV, and the folk duo Natural History, but most commonly he writes and releases under his own name.

Coming of age in the late 90’s and early 2000’s means his work contains hints of everything from Jimmy Eat World and the Format to Elliott Smith and Ben Folds.

His latest release ALLEGORIA is a collection of songs about different characters from different walks of life, some invented, and some real, from popular influencers to fictional literary characters to college football stars.

ALLEGORIA marks his first collaboration with producers John Lane (Webalo, Festive People) and John Hancock (Harpers, Caleb Danger).

It was mixed and mastered by Scott Wylie of June Audio, it features Utah musicians Nicole Pinell and Ambrynn Bowman on Cello as well as Denney Fuller (The Melons, Neon Trees) on horns and banjo.

Make sure to check Austin out at his bandcamp!

Dollaradio Teaser

It’s been an honor to help edit this video and go through the beautiful footage of this breathtaking historic property. Dollaradio started out as radio station for ship-to-shore communication and was built by Heintz & Kaufman. After it was abandoned, the structure was added onto and transformed into a gorgeous, one-of-a-kind home by the owners. Most unfortunately, the bluff that Dollaradio sits on has substantially eroded over time, and the home now faces a grim future. YouTube link in my bio
