🌃🚒 I'm still smiling from performing in Marian Fontana's play MY BOROUGH last week in NYC! This beautiful play is about Staten Island, fate, and how we move through the world with our ghosts. I can't wait to see where this script goes next.

This reading was directed by the wonderful Merri Milwe at @theaterlab on W 36th Street, and I was honored to act alongside the legend Deb Margolin, and two friends I haven't seen since college: Samantha White & Rebecca Salzhauer. 💙

MY BOROUGH is based on Thorton Wilder's OUR TOWN, but follows two sisters' lives growing up on Staten Island, through to the present. It is funny and raw and beautiful and I am honored to have helped bring it to life. ⛴️🎭

I'm speechless.

Today was a very good day.

Thank you @chelseytylerhall and @kevloweryphoto for capturing these moments, I will truly treasure tonight forever.

I first saw 44 in 2008 when his campaign came to Atlanta. I went with my sister, Mom and Westie puppy, Zuikis. I remember my sister's neon pink and black zebra phone case blocking a news camera as we were reaching to get a picture of the man who would one become our President—My president.

I watched his inauguration in my elementary school cafeteria at lunch, I grew up with him as the leader of our country, I fell into politics watching HIS speeches, and hearing his voice. I saw hope and change and a brighter future because of this man.

I'm just very emotional tonight, I feel blessed, and I am so utterly grateful for my path.
