Monsters Comic Con Haul! ⚡️🍁🧻🐈‍⬛🧪

I went to NY Comic Con for the first time yesterday. It started off a bit too much for me, but after a while I really enjoyed it. I would have liked to cosplay, but I didn’t have a lot of time due to family issues this month (my grandmother died). I did a very vague Hyde inspired outfit. I saw some great cosplays though! Two brides, one in a black wig and one with red, and an Elizabeth in blue. No creatures though. I was walking all over the floor looking for Frankenstein and monsters merch, which there wasn’t a ton of, but it was still fun! Now to the haul!

Universal Monsters Poster 🔩🐺🧪🍷🎼⚡️

My father and brother got me this poster at the Universal Horror booth. I was off in artist alley while they were up there. I love it. I still need to finish The Mummy and watch Universal’s Phantom though. Always love when Dr. Griffin’s included!

Two amazing pins from @sarahcosico 🍁

I walked through all of artist alley trying to find these pins! I saw a post and decided they were one of my goals to find, and then I completely missed them. Turns out they were near where I entered the first time but I missed them because I was overwhelmed. I thought there would be more Guillermo Del Toro Frankenstein stuff. I saw a few prints and stickers at another booth. Also saw maybe two other booths with 1931 and Bride art.

Mummy Kitty 🧻🐈‍⬛

I traded for this silly little guy at the trinket trade. Love him. 🤍

Jekyll and Hyde Cat 🧡🧪💙🐈‍⬛

Finally, there is this little guy. I saw him and immediately was like “Is that a Jekyll and Hyde cat!?!?”, and was obsessed. I debated for a while if I should buy him, but I decided I absolutely needed him. He is too cute. I honestly thought he was gonna be the bigger version that they had on display, but I guess they’re not selling that version cause I didn’t see it on the price list. He was $20 and is 6 inches. I love him.

Repost from personal account with most of original description.

Saw a reel earlier and had to make this before I forgot. Also Flip a Clip is annoying 😭. This audio sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t or isn’t in the right place. Idk why but I think it’s ok now and it’s nearly 4 am so I just want to finish.

Audio was originally from spoonz84 on TikTok. The cheeseburger is from Unsplash. I not longer know the exact photographer since I wasn’t sure if I needed to credit on a private account before I decided to make this one.

Repost from my personal account with original description. This is now my favorite Universal Monsters film.

The Invisible Man (1933)

They keep adding love interests to movies based on books with barely any love interests. I just think it was funny. I enjoyed the movie overall. This took around 3 hours to draw and now over 4 to edit. I can’t figure out the aspect ratio on this thing so it looks wonky. I also can not draw people so never doing this again. The paper erases nothing even when drawn lightly.
