Hey - I thought I would introduce myself a little bit! I’m just an Australian girly who loves to read, play video games and hang with my pets. Fantasy and Romance are my favourite genres, I’m obsessed with Overwatch 2 and other hero shooter games. I made this account for a bit of fun and to somewhat track my hobbies. Hopefully I can make some online friends along the way. Welcome to my page 🫶🏼 taken in BOOKSTA by @fallingintodusk

HELLO FRIENDS, LET’S CATCH UP! 🤍

Long time no post. I wish I was better at keeping up here, but there just never seems to be enough time. Between slowly renovating our home, working full time, and studying psychology part time, life has been very busy lately.

I’ll admit I’ve been gaming a lot in the little spare time I have and haven’t picked up as many books as I’d like. But I recently read Direbound and absolutely loved it. Easy 5 stars for me, I was hooked the whole way through, which doesn’t always happen with fantasy for me.

I’m so excited for the next book coming out next month 👀

Hope all my bookish friends have been doing well so far this year. What upcoming books are you excited for? ✨

4⭐️ Perfect little holiday romance and such a fun read. This beautiful copy was given to me as a birthday gift from a dear friend and I’m in love.
What Christmas holiday romance should I read next? I’m thinking of Good Spirits! 🕯️

In honour of this song being my number 1 on Spotify this year, I finally decided to get around to doing the book palette challenge!!! 🤩
I’m pretty sure @hayleys_booked had tagged me in this awhile ago but I never got around to it sorry gal 💕
Matching the colours and trying to edit this was actually so much harder than I thought it would be hahahaha so please ignore the one or two that aren’t quite a match. Anyway enjoyyyyy some of my favourite books/series of all time.
I’m tagging a few people to try and give this a go!!
Also if If anyone wants the photo of the palette message me 🫶🏼🥰

5⭐️ - Fae, vampires and zombies (well zombie like vampires anyway) SIGN ME UP!!! This book was right up my alley and I just cannot resist a fated mates trope. Also let’s be honest, Kingfisher is… 😏
Im also a sucker for animal companions in books and Onyx the fox is the cutest little thing ever. 🥹

I’m so glad I waited for Brimstone to release before reading this because I need to know what happens next. I switched between paperback and audiobook and the audiobook was really good too.

The reason behind Kingfisher’s nickname for Saeris ended up being so sweet, like UGH. My heart.
I will admit the lust between them felt instant rather than slow burn but I’ll let it slide as part of the mates trope.

I can understand why some readers feel this storyline is overused, I still think it brings together tropes that are not always used in combination even if they are common on their own.

Overall the pacing and writing worked in the story’s favour and I’m so glad I gave this a go despite the mixed reviews I’d heard!

A series that took me by surprise, featuring my boyfriends iPad 😆 I’m obsessed with the love triangle in these books and I’m dying to see who Isla chooses. What’s a series that took you by surprise?
