A wild Mullen decided to grow beside my steps. This is a good medicine plant and will grow quite tall. When the yellow flower stalk is in bloom in mid summer I take the flowers and pack into a sterile canning jar. Then put the jar in the sun for three days and collect the oil that comes out of the flowers. This is good for chest colds as a topical, and ear aches put into cotton balls.Pioneers also smoked the dried leaves for lung congestion. I am happy to be sharing space with my wild Mullen.🙏🌹 by @fallingriversoap
