Ding dong, the witch is dead:) I am not someone who thinks that everyone has to have the same opinions or beliefs, but do think that issues like race or mass v!olence shouldn’t be a
“woke vs right” issue. Winter Garden is a beautiful place to live and would hope that everyone could walk Plant Street feeling safe and welcome in our community. I don’t feel like this place was a good representation of that welcoming sentiment... So to be honest, I’m glad that this eyesore is closed.

We’re doing things that make us happy, so today we’re visiting @cromulentbasement in Orlando’s Mills 50 area. This is a really cool shop with things new, old, and full of nostalgia. They have free diet cokes, you can take a book if you leave a book, the games are free and they’re sensory friendly!

Also I swear this wasn’t planned but I did run into @pocketfireprintco’s display and was so stoked since I hadn’t previously seen the Pizza Hut one!!

Recycling the Magic in Oakland is just 25 minutes from Disney property and filled with park-used props, ride vehicles, blueprints, costumes, collectibles, and rare Disney memorabilia. They bring in new items daily, so every visit is different.

Stitch with @ itsjessielim on TikTok, who I could kiss on the forehead for putting me onto the double pudding, banana pudding iced matcha latte from @matchacafemaikoorlando because it’s truly the best, most scrumptious matcha I’ve ever had 😭 Im not being dramatic. This is worth ANY drive and any wait in line—my only regret is not getting a bigger size!!!

I went to the @2girlsandamarket ’s Orlando Summer Slasher event and one of my favorite things is that this company really values fan feedback. All of their markets have different themes, so it’s really easy to make sure you’re going to find stuff you love, and they brought back the spooky vibes because you guys were demanding more Halloween markets!! They listened!!! 🥹 the girls running the market are also so lovely and have a passion for supporting local businesses and artists, so I always feel like I’m in good company with them. 💕

Day 3 of our Girly Pop Shops!! You made it to the end ✨ if you haven’t noticed yet, I really adore supporting local businesses, especially women owned, creative companies! I’m so sad that we don’t know what the future has in store for @gaspgifts but for now I’m glad I’ve gotten the chance to explore it and have plenty of cute items to remember the store by 🥲

I finally made time to go to Cami Monet and it’s my new favorite little party shop! As someone who really loves watercolor, I adored her artwork as well 🥹 supporting local businesses, especially women-owned art stores, is so important for our Orlando community, so I hope that the next time you need a gift, are planning a party, or just want to treat yourself, you swing by and see all the whimsy they have to offer in this local shop! I personally plan to go back for things like cards, gift bags, and some party decor the next time I’m hosting book club with the gals 🥰

TBH, as an Orlando local I don’t always feel like going to the theme parks or dealing with crowds. Unfortunately, our city isn’t super walkable and I really like to get my steps in!

So long walks on park property have become an option we utilize numerous times per week. It’s WAY less crowded, it’s safe no matter the time of day, you get pretty views, plenty of snacks, and the resorts are sprawling so getting 10k is never a problem 🙃

Moving from Miami to Orlando, or from the South Florida region to Central Florida?

I’m not here to talk you out of it, but you are going to see a lot of “we’re full” online and not a lot of answers, so here’s 4 things to keep in mind when making your move.

Obviously there’s soooooo much more to dive into, I just had to keep this short to appease the algorithm monster. But we also have to discuss the fact that lower HOAs and lower home insurance premiums mean you can typically afford more house here than in Southern FL, let alone that our properties are already less expensive! Of course, if you’re interested in making this move I’d love to dive into those details with you one on one.

New construction homes near Downtown Winter Garden are getting harder to find, and this community is in its final opportunities. This is a gated community with no CDD and large homesites. They have 4 lots left if you’d like to build from dirt, and 4 homes you can purchase if you don’t want to wait months on construction to move in.

This is my favorite model, and it’s for sale. 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, a 3 car garage and over 4,400 sq ft. 19 foot ceilings, wine cave, outdoor kitchen under the covered lanai, pool and spa with water features, and it’s also on a corner lot. Since this was the model, they spared no expense with the design center upgrades.

The Winter Garden Farmers Market has been voted the best farmers market in Florida and the entire country by the American Farmland Trust, and it is right here in our backyard every single Saturday morning. Fresh produce, local artisans, Di Vilma cinnamon rolls, Eggdose, lots of very good dogs, and a parking situation that will really build your character unless you already live in the golf cart district.
