🏌️You are formally invited to the 2026 Fall Vintage Classic presented by @powerbiltgolf at @meadowlarkgolf

REGISTRATION
DM @fallvintageclassic to register as a team or individual.

• Individual Entry: $160/player
• Team Entry: $150/player ($600 paid in one payment)

We reserve at least 24 individual spots every year so solo players have the same opportunity to participate as full teams. Registration is first message, first served, and we’ll respond in the order messages are received. If your playing partner doesn’t have Instagram, registration is available through the website in our bio. Terms and conditions given at payment (Venmo, Zelle, Apple Pay) NO CARD PAYMENT… that’s how we can afford this.

🍂 Played on the first Saturday of Fall, the Fall Vintage Classic has grown into a 124-player, full shotgun Persimmon Scramble celebrating the golden era of golf.

Come dressed in your favorite vintage golf attire, you may win the @lambdagolf best dressed. You’ll swing persimmon woods (borrow a set if you need one we’ve got right and left-handed clubs available), and enjoy a day built around great golf, great people, and timeless traditions. Modern irons are welcome, but we ask that you leave the metal woods & UFO 🛸 putters at home.

The day features 9 sponsored prize holes, including a Closest to the Pin Hickory Challenge hosted by @misterclean1957 , where many players will hit a hickory club for the very first time. Righties and lefties, we’ve got you covered.

Your day includes coffee, donuts, live jazz, lunch, incredible prizes, an opportunity drawing featuring vintage heirlooms, new equipment (including a new iron set), three golf bags, & beer and cigar for those who choose to partake.

Golfers of all ages, skill levels, and handicaps are welcome. Whether you’re chasing trophies or simply looking for one of the most unique golf experiences you’ll ever have, we’d love to have you join us.

A huge thank you to our sponsors and partners for helping make our third year our biggest yet. ⛳️⚡️🚀

If you’ve been thinking about playing… do it!
We pour our hearts into this tournament and promise you’ll experience a golf tournament unlike any other. taken in Meadowlark Golf Club by @fallvintageclassic

A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to attend the @fallvintageclassic for the second year in a row. It’s a 4-person scramble tournament that requires players to hit persimmon drivers and woods from decades past, while also encouraging them to dress in vintage golf apparel. I had a blast swinging the old wooden sticks, but I love how this tournament brings people together.

I was really proud to see how much the tournament has expanded in just one year. From a field that doubled in size to multiple new sponsors and on course experiences, this event has elevated itself to one a bucket list event for anyone wanting to experience vintage golf. There aren’t many events that focus on the preservation and celebration of golf’s foundational culture, so if you’re curious about vintage golf, give it a shot! You won’t regret it!

I want to thank @practiceswingking and his family, @j.e.y_b.r.o.w.n, @misterclean1957, and @vintagegolfwear for all their hard work to make this tournament the success it’s become. Thank you to all the sponsors who showed up and made this tournament truly unique.Thank you @cam1ren for taking these beautiful photos and @matt_saucy for documenting the tournament on film. Lastly, I want to thank my playing partners for making the tournament such a blast on the course. Hope we can play again soon!

One of the absolute highlights of the Fall Vintage Classic is Mr. Clean’s Hickory Hole.

Mike loves New Wave and Cats so your damn right this post has both!

Leave your rangefinders in the cart, set your clubs aside, and step back into a different era of golf. Walk up to the table, select a hickory club with the loft and lie of your choosing, and give 140 yards your very best shot. A wonderful opportunity to experience the game as it was once played, and we’re incredibly grateful to Mike Donaldson for his dedication to preserving hickory golf and sharing its history, craftsmanship, and traditions with our community.

A huge congratulations to @bigwavedavegolf our 2026 Hickory Hole Closest to the Pin winner, who earned a Golden Ticket and complimentary entry into the 2027 Fall Vintage Classic!

We hope the entire field who stepped up to that tee enjoyed the experience Mike has created.

Thank you, @misterclean1957 🫶🏻🫵🏻, for your friendship, generosity, and everything you continue to do for the game. Preserving golf’s history is one thing. Giving others the opportunity to experience it is something truly special.
